Research On Evaluation Method Of Traffic Signal Control Effect

In recent years,most cities have encountered traffic congestion.In order to alleviate the road traffic congestion,most cities have invested a lot of signal control equipment.However,due to the lack of effective control concept and method and effect test standard,the traffic congestion problem is still increasing.Traffic signal control is the most efficient way to control traffic congestion.However,there is still a large research space for the evaluation system of control effect.In view of the above problems,this paper studies the effect evaluation of traffic signal control from two aspects: one is the signal control effect of single intersection;the other is the effect of trunk coordinated control.First of all,this paper analyzes the evaluation factors of traffic signal control effect.According to the selection principles and research ideas of evaluation indexes,this paper constructs the evaluation index system of signal control effect and quantifies each evaluation index.Then it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages and applicability of several comprehensive evaluation methods in the research object of this paper,determines the evaluation method of this paper,and constructs the evaluation system of traffic signal control effect.Finally,based on the research of each chapter,the traffic control effect of two typical intersections and one main trunk line in Jinan is evaluated.
