Dong embroidery is a traditional embroidery technique for Dong women in China through its ingenious conception and flexible hands.It is a kind of national intangible cultural heritage with special features[1].For Dong people,Dong embroidery is not only a well-known traditional handicraft,but also an important material carrier for Dong women to record and convey emotion in visual form in a backward agricultural society with information and technology.With the inheritance and development of a generation of Dong family,Dong embroidery converges very rich cultural connotations,accommodates rich national feelings,and also derives many wonderful cultural phenomena and cultural stories.The purpose of this article is to study the coupling relationship between Guangxi embroidery culture and residential space,and summarize the strategy of living inheritance of Guangxi embroidery culture in the transformation of its original cultural space,to reproduce culture with space,and to reshape space with culture.First of all,by analyzing and studying the intangible cultural heritage of Dong embroidery,the author digs deeply into its cultural characteristics and the folklore stories derived from it.Secondly,the author analyzes the original cultural space of Dong embroidery in Guangxi,studies its characteristics and development status,and analyzes the reasons of its evolution in the contemporary times,and the influence of this evolution on the inheritance of Dong embroidery culture.Finally,combining with the actual development needs of the minority characteristic village in Guangxi,the author takes the living inheritance of the dong embroidery culture as the entry point,integrates its cultural elements,cultural stories and cultural situation into the design of the residential reconstruction,so as to achieve the sustainable development of the traditional culture and the characteristic residential style of the dong nationality,and at the same time promote the economic benefit of the local related industries.It can be divided into the following six parts:Part One: the background of the topic,the definition of the research category,the existing relevant research overview,the main purpose and significance,as well as the methods and logical framework used by the author in the research process;Part Two: expound the related concepts of Dong embroidery culture,Dong folk residence and living inheritance in Guangxi,and the coupling relationship between them,which provides the corresponding theoretical support for the contents studied in this paper.Part Three: discuss the cultural and ecological characteristics of Guangxi Dong embroidery culture,and analyze the development of Guangxi Dong embroidery culture and the problems in the process of protection and inheritance.Part Four: according to the development status of Dong culture and folk residence in Guangxi,combined with the existing design cases,analyze the feasibility of the living inheritance design application of Dong embroidery culture in the process of folk residence reconstruction,and get the strategy of living inheritance design application of Dong embroidery culture in the residential reconstruction project,and puts forward the feasible way or example for the implementation of similar projects.Part Five: combined with graduation creations,in the practice of the reconstruction of the residences of the Dong people in Sanjiang,Guangxi,reintegrated culture in Guangxi with the renewed and reshaped cultural space,the article summarizes the design strategy to carry on the demonstration.Part Six: draw a main conclusion of the thesis,and look forward to the future development trend and the subsequent design work of the living inheritance of Dong embroidery culture.
