| Since 2015,when General Secretary Xi Jinping proposed a plan for Guangxi’s "One Belt and One Road" at the third session of the 12 th National People’s Congress and positioned it as an international channel,a strategic pivot point and an important gateway, which pointed the way forward for its development and also injected a strong impetus,in 2017 Guangxi adopted the "One Belt and One Road" strategic policy to establish industrial ties between the regional In this strategic development,it is also evident that humanistic exchanges are a spiritual vehicle to promote people-to-people contacts between China and ASEAN countries, and a basis to promote civilizational harmony and common prosperity. The Dong ethnic minority in China is an ethnic group with only its own language but no written history,so the culture of the ethnic group is cohesive in the patterns of Dong embroidery.Dong embroidery was inscribed in the intangible cultural heritage of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2009 and the national level in 2011.Therefore,based on this strategic platform and the national intangible cultural policy, the cultural exchange between the ethnic minorities and the countries along the Belt and Road is strengthened, and the culture of the ethnic minorities is promoted and preserved to the outside world. At present, the academic research on Dong embroidery in China is not comprehensive and scientific enough,as fast-fashion clothing production dominates the consumer market and the market space for ethnic minority embroidery is narrow, which also indicates the decline of Dong embroidery culture. The subject is about the application of Dong embroidery patterns in cultural and creative products in the context of "One Belt,One Road",and takes the current development of "One Belt,One Road" as the background of research. In addition to investigating the ethnic connotations and symbolic meanings of Dong embroidery patterns,we also examine the development and historical background of Dong embroidery patterns from various perspectives such as the history of inheritance, cultural symbols, craft techniques and the choice of colours for embroidery. In addition to investigating the development and historical background of Dong embroidery patterns,we will also study the design concept and price positioning of Dong embroidery products through case studies and questionnaires, and promote the Dong embroidery patterns to the economic market in the form of cultural and creative products,so as to contribute to the inheritance and promotion of Dong embroidery culture. This study will not only summarise the current challenges faced by the Dong embroidery culture in its inheritance, but will also combine the "One Belt and One Road" strategic policy to achieve the integration of Dong embroidery and ASEAN culture and the innovation of the design practice of cultural and creative products,so as to realise the unification of the functional aesthetic, commercial and humanistic values of the Dong modern cultural and creative products. |
