This dissertation begins with the historical evolution of the logic of decision-making for urban high-level morphology.It mainly includes theocracy stage,centralization stage and multiple decision-making stage.Judging from the perspective of historical development,the height form of modern city is influenced by many factors.Therefore,decision-making must be carried out by means of multi-objective optimization.In this context,this paper launched a systematic study on the influencing factors of modern urban height form.Firstly,facing the complex urban system,this paper decomposes the influencing factors of urban height form into four dimensions which can be described rationally.These four dimensions are economic efficiency dimension,natural ecological dimension,social humanities dimension and public interest dimension.In addition,the key characteristics of reasonable urban height form and the related influencing factors are elaborated from different perspectives.On this basis,this paper summarizes the influencing factors of each dimension into a "influencing factors menu" to provide reference for the construction of the model of high morphological evaluation.Subsequently,the paper elaborates the existing methods of calculating weights,and illustrates the limitations of Delphi method in practical application through investigation and analysis.Taking the old city of Nanjing as a real data source,the urban land is quantitatively described by means of multi-factor evaluation.On this basis,correlation coefficient method,regression coefficient method,principal component analysis method and entropy weight method are used to calculate index weight in turn.By comparing the calculation process and results,this paper considers that correlation coefficient method and regression coefficient method are more suitable to be applied to the construction of high morphological evaluation system model and entropy weight method is not applied to multi-objective decision-making.Finally,as an extension of thinking,the article emphasizes that the development of urban form is not unique.Morphological decision-making cannot be based solely on computer simulation results and subjective design behavior still plays an important role in shaping urban space.Therefore,the multi-objective decision-making of urban height form must be checked both by computer simulation results and design intentions.Taking the Sipailou area of Nanjing Old City as a hypothetical object,this paper illustrates how to carry out two-way checking with examples.There are about 50,000 words in the text and more than 80 groups of charts.
