With the improvement of people’s living standard,traveling has become a common occurrence.Countryside has become the best choice for urban people to take short distance leisure due to its superior geographical position and unique natural features.Besides bringing business opportunities to the countryside,it has also triggered a large number of demands for architectural renovation.At the same time,the flourishing news media also show increasing attention to rural architectural renovation,which not only makes architects gradually move from behind to the front of the stage,but also makes many unknown villages become famous overnight.The keen sense of media for social issues is in line with the urgent needs of rural publicity and promotion,and the combination of the two also brings many new ideas and breakthroughs for architectural renovation.Under the background stated above,this dissertation,from the perspective of communication,specifically analyzes the rural tourism architectures with good social response and publicity effects and puts forward suggestions and strategies in the early planning,architectural design,interior design and commercial operation.The dissertation is divided into sic chapters: the first chapter is the introduction.It mainly introduces the research background,status and other issues,then puts forward the research goals and methods of the dissertation.The second chapter firstly summarizes the relevant knowledge of communication theory and expounds the relationship between communication theory and architecture from the perspective of interdisciplinary,clarifies some concepts,and makes full preparation for the following discussion.The third chapter compares and analyzes the focus of mass media on architecture from the aspects of traditional media,network media and we-media(or useroperated media).The forth chapter lists and explains the feasible design strategies and suggestions in different stages of architectural renovation from the perspective of communication theory.The fifth chapter takes the renovation design of Jiuhua Tea House as an example,which was independently completed by the author during graduate study,to implement the strategies and suggestions summarized above in the operation level and explore specific design methods under specific problems.Chapter six summarized the precious research results,at the same time rethinks about and looks forward to the future development of the renovation of rural tourism architecture.
