In recent years,with the introduction of relevant policies,the protection and renewal of traditional villages have received widespread attention.Many traditional dwellings with cultural and historical value have also attracted the attention of researchers in related fields.Despite the ongoing renovation and renovation of traditional dwellings,the traditional dwellings are rapidly degraded under the erosion of time.And idle functions.Effective measures need to be taken to deal with these related issues,otherwise it will not be conducive to the heritage of the rural architectural context and the indigenous people 's sense of belonging to the village.While the development of rural residential buildings develops a local humanistic spirit,it also improves the quality of living of rural villagers.Various problems and challenges have emerged in the integration and development of rural construction with modern life.The indiscriminate demolition and construction phenomenon has caused rural residents to lose their original appearance,local characteristics and folk culture are forgotten and gradually disappear.The second is the blind use of urban house construction measures,ignoring the characteristics and needs of rural houses.The third is the simplification and neglect of traditional customs and cultures.In the collision between local traditional cultures and foreign cultures,many problems have been encountered in the inheritance and development of customary cultures in many traditional villages.For the research of rural residential building reconstruction,we should put the solution of the problem first and promote the traditional culture behind.Renovation of rural residential buildings should be targeted according to different types,one is the unstable structure of the building,and the other is the functional reconstruction of the building.This article selects the existing Xiushuixiong rural dwellings in Liangzihu area,Hubei,as the research object,traces its architectural culture,compares the architectural cultural characteristics of Jingchu in various regions of Hubei,analyzes the existing dwelling forms,and improves its architectural design plan according to its locality.Study the local design of rural residential building transformation from the perspectives of preservation principles of building sites,inheritance of traditional styles,innovation of space functions,and sustainable use of original materials.
