Exterior decoration materials play an important role in the construction of houses.The exterior decoration materials not only have certain visual effects but also have anti-seepage function,which can effectively block the wind and rain from the natural environment,prevent the leakage of houses,and have certain protection for the houses.But the leakage of houses caused by the problem of exterior decoration materials has not been well resolved.The exterior wall plate-type decorative material in the exterior decoration material will peel off and fall off,posing a great threat to the life and property safety of the person and the incalculable loss.In addition,the exterior wall coating system will age,crack,and peel in the natural environment,resulting in the decrease of anti-seepage performance and causing leakage of the house.The decorative mortar system will also be cracked due to the low tensile strength of the ordinary mortar,which is easy to cause cracking and leakage.The external decorative materials,which include the problems of plate-type decorative material shedding,paint aging and mortar cracking,will affect the visual effect of the building,causing water seepage in the house,which will inevitably cause unpredictable loss to the house's internal property,seriously affecting the living experience and needs of the residents.The plastering mortar is simple,economical as well as reasonable in construction,and has great advantages.By adding additives in ordinary mortar to improve the crack resistance and impermeability of the mortar,the problem of water leakage caused by the external decorative material can be solved.Firstly,the influencing factors of mortar shrinkage are analyzed.The main mechanism of mortar shrinkage are investigated,and the existing methods are adopted as reference and to improve the crack resistance of mortar.Theoretical basis and data are also provided to support the subsequent experiments.Suitable sand and cement are selected for the mortar shrinkage test and a certain amount of LX-5 additive is added to make impermeability and anti-cracking mortar.Shrinkage rate are adopted in the test as a criterion for evaluating the shrinkage performance of mortar,and the relationship between different LX-5 additive ratios and different water-cement ratios as well as mortar shrinkage are also discussed in the study.The data was collated and analyzed by carrying out and drawing the corresponding line chart.The optimal dosage of LX-5 additive and the appropriate water-cement ratio were explored,and the influence of various factors on the shrinkage performance of the mortar was analyzed.According to the test results,the effects of fly ash,silica fume,fiber and water-cement ratio on the shrinkage performance of mortar were discussed.The optimum mixing ratio was selected by mortar shrinkage test to conduct the impermeability test.The impermeability grade was used as the judging method for the impermeability performance of mortar.The impermeability grade of ordinary mortar and impermeability and anti-crack mortar was determined.The impermeability grade of impermeability and anti-crack mortar with different thickness was determined.The anti-seepage performance of anti-crack mortar and ordinary mortar are compared to investigate the optimal coating thickness when the impermeability and anti-crack mortar is applied in the practical engineering.The data was collated and analyzed through a table to study the effect of various factors on the impermeability of the mortar.According to the test results,the effects of fly ash,water reducer and fiber on the impermeability of mortar were discussed.Finally,the steel wire mesh is added in the impermeability and anti-cracking mortar by shearing pins to improve the crack resistance of the impermeability and anticracking mortar.The crack resistance of the impermeability and anti-cracking mortar is tested by the external wall simulation experiments as well as the actual engineering application.The results of the external wall simulation experiments and actual engineering applications show that the impermeability and anti-crack mortar made by adding LX-5 additive to the mortar meets the project which is significant for practical engineering application.
