Research On Glass Curtain Wall Design Of Terminal

The construction of urban cities in China put an even higher premium on traffic foundation establishment.With China’s aviation industry entering into the stage of rapid development,airport terminal’s internal functions,space envitonment and external form have become more and more important.As one of the important external protective structures of the terminal building,the glass curtain wall has an important influence on the indoor space environment and external expressiveness of the terminal building.However,in the present period of China’s curtain wall design pattern,designers pay less attention to the glass curtain wall which makes the contradiction between design and demand is getting increasingly serious.Therefore,for the development of terminal design,the rerearch in this paper is of some theoretical and practical value.Based on the existing theory,this paper studies the glass curtain wall of the terminal building from the perspective of architectural design.Firstly,the paper makes a basic analysis of the terminal building and the glass curtain wall,and summarizes the characteristics of the glass curtain wall of the terminal building as the theoretical basis for the design of the glass curtain wall of the terminal building.Secondly,by researching the application types of glass curtain wall of more than 50 large and medium-sized terminals at home and abroad,this paper summarises the main application of glass curtain wall structure type,glass material and shading measures in the terminal building and then analyze the applicability of different glass curtain walls to the terminal.And then,paper makes an indepth study of some typical cases,which concern the design of the building,the function and performance of the glass curtain wall,the unit system of the glass curtain wall,and the design features of each case.Combined with the above case study,the enclosure function and artistic performance of the glass curtain wall of the terminal building were analyzed.Finally,the design points of the glass curtain wall of the terminal building were summarized from the aspects of the overall,unit and energy-saving.The research in this paper is based on the study of several practical engineering cases,combining practical experience summaries with design theories,with the aim of constructing a reference framework for the design of the glass curtain wall of the terminal building and inducing architects and designers.Participate in the design and innovative application of glass curtain walls.
