With the rapid development of China's economy and the growing scale of cities,traffic congestion and other issues are becoming more and more serious.Besides,people's quality of life continues to improve,the requirements for a good living environment and travel convenience are getting higher and higher,residents' travel convenience and safety issues are particularly urgent.In recent years,with the continuous improvement and strengthening of residents' awareness of environmental protection,the theme of "green travel,enjoy green life" has become more and more popular.The concept of green environmental protection has become the main theme of modern urban life.People's desire for the construction of urban slow traffic with urban ecological landscape corridor,fitness,walking,leisure and other functions has become more and more intense.Therefore,this paper has important practical significance and theoretical value for the design and research on the urban slow traffic.Firstly,this paper studies the basic theory and development status of slow traffic system at home and abroad.On the basis of the urban slow traffic theory,taking Yining city as an example,it investigates the current slow traffic and analyzes the data.The minimum width of sidewalk and bike path are calculated to guide the cross-sectional design of road.The urban slow traffic design is studied from four aspects: road network planning,traffic facilities planning,street space planning and road material planning.The principles to be followed in the planning and design of the slow traffic network are put forward.According to the types of urban slow traffic facilities,the planning and design requirements of pedestrian and bicycle traffic,slow crossing facilities,bicycle parking,public bike rental and transfer facilities are studied.Establish a spatial planning and design system for slow traffic streets based on pedestrian streets,small alleys,micro parks,public squares and Shared streets.By analyzing and comparing the advantages and disadvantages of the material selection of the slow traffic road,this paper studies the influence of the material selection of the slow traffic road on the design effect.From the slow traffic node design,slow traffic cross section design,"slow traffic + motorway traffic" parking and entrance coordination design,"slow traffic + public traffic" station and transfer coordination design,this paper establishes the fine design strategy and mode of slow traffic design.Finally,by establishing the monitoring index of the slow traffic system design,the accessibility of regional traffic is improved.
