Research On The Design Management Process Of The Owner Of Construction Projects

In recent years,with the rapid development of China's economy and the acceleration of urbanization,the development of construction industry is also gradually accelerated,and more and more engineering projects begin to be constructed.Engineering project management is becoming more and more important.As an important part of engineering project management,design management plays an important role in the smooth construction of engineering projects.As the core of design management,the owner plays a key role in the effect of management,so the research on the owner design management of engineering projects is of great significance to China's economic construction.Firstly,this paper summarizes some basic concepts and theories of design management proposed by domestic and foreign scholars,and summarizes the characteristics of owner design management in engineering projects based on BIM and architect responsibility system.Then,based on the theory of design management,from the perspective of design management of the owner,the design management of each stage in the whole life cycle of the project is described.Then it summarizes the problems existing in the project design management,and puts forward the improvement measures.At last,the paper analyzes the design management process of the owner in the specific project case,and further discusses how the design management theory can be used in the actual project management of the owner.
