FAW Group carried out comprehensive reforms in September 2017.The Group's headquarters directly operated Hongqi brand,and established a number of organizations to improve Hongqi brand operations like setting up the Intelligent Network Development Institute and the Hongqi Sales Company.FAW Group has attracted many outstanding partners and signed strategic cooperation framework agreements.FAW launched the new Hongqi brand strategy press conference in the Great Hall of the People in 2018.The new Hongqi brand uses intelligent connected cars as its core business product,shouldering the important task that the history entrusts to the Chinese automobile industry,to realize the corner overtaking of Chinese automobile industry.Therefore,the development of FAW Hongqi Intelligent Connected Car business will become one of the important indicators for evaluating FAW Group in the next few years.Based on the strategic management theory of the company,this paper uses the case study analysis method and case study method,and uses SWOT analysis tools to conduct a systematic analysis of the FAW Hongqi intelligent connected car business.Based on the current status of China's automobile industry,this article analyzed the current status of FAW Hongqi Intelligent Connected Car business and the problems of FAW Hongqi Intelligent Connected Car business,mainly reflected in insufficient research and development capabilities,increased product manufacturing costs,and difficulties in customer feedback.This paper analyzed the internal and external environmental of the FAW Group and used SWOT analysis tools,and sorted out the advantages and disadvantages and strategic implementation directions of the FAW Hongqi Intelligent Connected Car business.This article used the Boston Matrix to get the feasible strategy of FAW Hongqi Intelligent Connected Car business,and explained the strategy implementation and strategic guarantee.FAW Hongqi will strengthen its strategy through research and development and marketing to improve product technological competitiveness and market share.Through related diversification strategies,FAW has built a core parts supply chain and reduced product costs.At the same time,through reform of the human resources system,FAW has ensured its talent pool,strengthened technical exchanges and cooperation with a more open attitude,and formed a large R & D pattern.Through the joint quality assurance system,FAW has established a reputation for brand quality and cooperated with the reform of the marketing system to achieve a comprehensive rejuvenation of the Hongqi brand.Based on the current situation of FAW Group,this paper studies the development strategy of Hongqi Intelligent Connected Car business.To a certain extent,it helped the Hongqi brand choose a development direction.At the same time,this article provides some guidance for the Hongqi brand to obtain and maintain a competitive advantage in the automotive industry,and also provides a reference for other companies to choose their own strategies in business development.
