In the 1960 s,thin-walled stainless steel pipes with durable,exquisite appearance,energy-saving and environmental protection have been applied abroad.At present,thin-walled stainless steel pipes are widely used in water and gas pipeline systems in developed countries,while in China,thin-walled stainless steel pipes were applied only since 1990 s.Due to price reasons,thin-walled stainless steel pipes have been used as high-end products in water and gas pipeline systems,and the overall market size is small and the growth is slow.With the development of China’s economy,the upgrade of consumption and the promulgation and implementation of new standards,the domestic demand for thin-walled stainless steel pipes in the field of water and gas has increased sharply.Changes in demand lead to sharp changes in supply.C Company,founded in 2002,is one of the earliest private enterprises engaged in R&D,production and sales of water and gas thin-walled stainless steel pipes in China.With its own dedication and persistence,after 17 years of efforts,C Company has made great progress and development from scratch,and now has developed into the backbone of the industry and a well-known brand.With the change of market,C Company is facing many market opportunities.At the same time,it also is facing enormous market challenges and threats.This paper takes C Company as the research object,through the analysis of its external and internal environment,finds out the opportunities,threats,strengths and weaknesses affecting its development strategy,and then studies the selection and implementation of the development strategy of C Company by using the relevant analysis tools of enterprise strategic management.Firstly,this paper introduces the background,company profile,research purpose and significance of the topic,and summarizes the theory and analysis tools of enterprise strategic management to provide theoretical support for the research of C Company’s development strategy.Secondly,through the analysis of the external and internal environment of C Company,it finds out opportunities,threats,strengths and weaknesses that affect its development strategy.Thirdly,through SWOT analysis of the different combinations of opportunities,threats,strengths and weaknesses that affect the development strategy of C Company and matching of their respective key factors,four different strategic combination options are obtained.Then,it uses EFE matrix and IFE matrix to evaluate the external and internal key factors affecting the development strategy of C Company.According to the evaluation results,it chooses the opportunity-advantage strategy combination scheme for C Company,finally chooses the cost-leading strategy in the development strategy.After that,according to the choice of development strategy of C Company,the key measures of implementation of development strategy are elaborated from five aspects: cost control,organizational structure,project management,staff training and core staff incentive.
