Adaptive Evolution And Renewal Of Self-built Residential Buildings In Chuanxi Village

In the evolution of contemporary rural development,the villagers' independent construction ignores the local traditional style,and there is a contradiction between the living space and the needs of the villagers,and the traditional history conflicts with the modern culture.How to ease the confrontation between rural residential styles and restore the traditional style of villages in the context of meeting the needs of villagers is an important issue in the construction of beautiful villages.Self-built houses are the main components of rural settlements.Due to the acceleration of urbanization,the economic development of contemporary villages is intuitively manifested in the peasants' self-built houses: the vertical increase of building volume,luxury decoration,the modernization of basic equipment,and the urbanization of living space.However,this phenomenon completely detached the style of the local self-built houses from the historical traditions,and the traditional style of the village was destroyed,eventually leading to the phenomenon that all the villages are basically similar.Aiming at this problem,this study takes the Chuanxi village in Chenxi County of Xiangxi as the research object,and studies the evolution and characteristics of its self-built houses.On this basis,it extracts the rationality in its evolution process and makes up for the deficiencies.Guide the direction of residential adaptive update and propose corresponding adaptive update strategies.The study is divided into six chapters.The first chapter explains the origin,purpose,significance and method of research,sorts out the existing researches domestic and abroad,and defines the research objects.The second chapter analyzes the location overview,historical and cultural genes,folk life characteristics,socioeconomic characteristics and village pattern evolution of Chuanxi village,and explains the reasons for choosing Chuanxi village as the research object.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of different types of houses in each period according to the historical evolution of the self-built houses in Chuanxi village,and analyzes the survey data to summarize the utilization status of different types of self-built houses in the local area.The fourth chapter analyzes the characteristics and evolution of the detailed decoration,material structure and internal space of the self-built residential buildings in Chuanxi village,summarizes the characteristics and influencing factors of the evolution of local self-built houses,and points out the dilemma of its development.On this basis,it extracts rationality in its evolution.The fifth chapter puts forward the principles and basic strategies for the update of self-built houses in Chuanxi village,and analyzes and verifies them through update cases.The sixth chapter summarizes the key points and processes of the self-built residential renovation in Chuanxi village.Based on the characteristics of the self-built residential development of the village and its dilemma,as well as the analysis and research of the update case,this paper proposes adaptive improvement guidelines for traditional houses from the aspects of function,structure,modern space and related equipment and technology,and propose adaptive update guidelines for functional and cultural aspects of contemporary housing.This paper provides experience for other ancient villages in Xiangxi,which have similar characteristics to the development of Chuanxi village,through the research and adaptive update of the self-built residential development in Chuanxi village.
