This paper first uses FDS software to analyze the fires in different locations of a high-rise residential building, focusing on the analysis of fire temperature changes, smoke layer height, visibility,CO concentration, etc.,and compares the relationship between the relevant data and the critical values ??in the building.Determine the available evacuation time;then use the Pathfinder software to simulate the evacuation of the high-rise building, and obtain the necessary time for evacuation, compare the two evacuation times, and judge the safety status of the building. The most unfavorable position of the whole building is the fire layer. When there is a fire in the16 th floor, the temperature of the corridor reaches a critical value of 60 °C in 220 seconds, the visibility of the corridor drops to below 4 meters in the critical state in120 seconds, and the CO concentration is in the range of 1200 seconds. Not reaching1000 ppm,the available evacuation time is 120 seconds;when there is a fire in the third floor, the corridor position temperature reaches 60 °C at 320 seconds, the visibility of the corridor position drops to below 4 meters in 100 seconds, and the CO concentration is in the range of 1200 seconds. If it does not reach 1000 ppm,the available evacuation time is 100 seconds. It takes 531.5 seconds for 288 people in the building to evacuate to the outside, but it only takes 45 seconds from the beginning of the action to all people entering the smoke-proof stairwell, the pre-action time is 120 seconds, and the necessary time for personnel evacuation is 165 seconds,so under the condition of ensuring the effectiveness of the smoke-proof stairwell and the fire door, people in the fire floor are still in danger. This paper can provide reference for the initial design of high-rise residential buildings and the layout of fire facilities and evacuation of completed buildings.
