The development of the automotive industry has brought a lot of convenience to people's travel,but at the same time it has brought a certain burden to the natural environment.Research shows that the quality of the car itself is directly related to the discharge of pollutants.As an indispensable part of the automobile,the automobile wheel hub plays an important role in the development of the automobile industry.Therefore,research on the lightweight design of the automobile wheel hub is of great significance for reducing the body quality and reducing pollutant emissions.This paper starts with reverse engineering technology,including the acquisition and pre-processing of point cloud on the hub surface,the reconstruction and detection of the hub surface,the finite element analysis of the hub performance and the topology optimization design and the verification after optimization.The specific research contents are as follows:Acquisition and pretreatment of the point cloud on the hub surface.Firstly,the common point cloud data acquisition methods such as contact measurement and non-contact measurement are analyzed.The point cloud data of the hub surface is measured by VTOP200A(S)type non-contact surface scanner,and acquired by Geomagic Studio.Point cloud data is pre-processed for filtering,streamlining,encapsulation,and coordinate alignment.Reconstruction and detection of the hub surface.Firstly,the development of surface modeling design theory and the definition of NURBS curve and surface are analyzed.The pre-processed point cloud data is processed by CATIA V5,and the 3D solid model of the hub is regenerated.Finally,the 3D of the reconstructed wheel model is reconstructed by Geomagic Qualify.Accuracy,2D section error and accuracy of critical dimensions are analyzed and compared.Finite element analysis of wheel performance.The finite element analysis software ANSYS was used to simulate the performance of the hub according to the relevant national test standards.The dynamic vibration characteristics of the model,the stress and fatigue life under the bending fatigue test,and the stress under the radial fatigue test were analyzed.And fati gue life and impact resistance of the model.Topology optimization design.Based on the analysis results of finite element,the optimization model is established.The structure optimization design of the wheel part of the model is carried out by HyperMesh,and the analysis results before and after the optimization are compared to verify the feasibility of the optimization result.The paper has 79 pictures,11 tables,and 63 references.
