| At present,there are a large number of existing residential areas in the 1980 s and 1990 s,at the same time,the public life in the once lively settlement is slowly shrinking,especially home life,related to people’s lives,is gradually being forgotten.There is a serious imbalance in the use of public space,although the public space in the homes occupies a large area,its use is far less than the concentration of public venues.Occupied public space is facing problems such as the encroachment of motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles,old public facilities,lack of barrier-free design,etc.These problems cause the quality of their use to decline,in turn,it conflicts with the needs of residents,ultimately leads to no one to go to the public space.The lack of lively public space in the house is not only not conducive to the safety of the residents’ living environment,but also makes the residents more unfamiliar and indifferent.This is very different from the goal of building a harmonious settlement.Therefore,it is most important to increase the vitality of the public space in the existing settlements.This topic is based on the concept of environmental behavior and combines the concept of residential public space in existing settlements.It starts from the perspective of the needs of residents in existing settlements,and systematic analysis of the factors influencing the vitality of residential public spaces in existing settlements.Through field research on the basic conditions of the public space in the existing residential areas built in Tianjin from the 1980 s to the 1990 s,the residents’ public life,and research related cases.Verifying the practicality of factors affecting the viability of existing public spaces in residential areas,which can provide some guidance for the strategy of vitality update for existing public spaces in residential areas.Finally,studing how to reconstruct and enhance the vitality of the public space in existing settlements through landscape design methods to guide residents to return to their lives between houses.At the same time,it will combine the factors affecting the vitality of houses to improve the quality and quality of residential public spaces in a reasonable and targeted manner,and achieve the goal of regeneration of the public space in existing residential areas. |
