Face gear transmission is a gear transmission in which spur gears and face gears mesh with each other.It has the advantages of low vibration,low noise,high interchangeability and large coincidence.It is used in helicopter transmission systems,aviation,navigation,automobile and other industries.The application process reflects the superiority that other gear components cannot replace.The contact path and transmission error of the face gear directly determine the transmission accuracy,vibration and noise during the transmission of the face gear.Face gear machining error and installation error are the main reasons for the face gear transmission error.In order to accurately measure the transmission error of the orthogonal face gear and reduce the influence of the surface gear installation error on the measurement result during the measurement process,this paper used the TCA(Tooth Contact Analysis,TCA)method to establish face gear transmission model with machining error and installation error.MATLAB simulation was used to obtain the influence of face gear machining error and installation error on the gear transmission error and contact trajectory,and provided the basis for the face gear pair installation of the face gear transmission error measuring instrument.Make the face gear transmission error measurement more accurate.The main contents are as follows:(1)Analysis of the influence of installation error on face gear transmission errorTCA analysis method was used,combined with the principle of space meshing,standard surface gear and pinion tooth surface model were established,three kinds of installation errors were introduced into the surface gear meshing process,and the influence of installation error on the standard orthogonal gear transmission error and contact trajectory was analyzed.(2)Analysis of the influence of machining error on the gear transmission errorFive kinds of machining errors were introduced into the surface gear machining process,and the face gear tooth surface model with machining error was established to make the pinion gear mesh with the face gear with machining error,and the influence of machining error on the face gear transmission error and contact trajectory was analyzed.(3)Analysis of installation error on surface gear transmission error with machining errorThe face gear with five machining errors was meshed with the standard spur gear,and the three installation errors were introduced into the meshing process.When the machining error was constant,the three mounting errors were analyzed for the influence law of the face gear with machining error transmission error and contact trajectory.(4)Experiment and analysis of face gear transmission error measurementThe face gear was offset upward or downward in the axial direction,the left and right offset of the pinion was simulated to simulate the installation error,and the influence of the installation error on the gear transmission error was measured.The simulation and experimental comparison analysis show that the experimental and simulation results are similar.By studying the influence of installation error on the contact trajectory and transmission error,the surface gear pair installation during the transmission error measurement process can be guided to reduce the influence of installation error on the measurement result.
