Application Of Traditional Lingnan Garden Space Art In Modern Architecture

The unique natural and cultural environment in lingnan area has created lingnan garden.This unique private garden form of integrating house gardens is a good response to lingnan region.Traditional lingnan garden has strong regional characteristics in spatial layout,composition elements and spatial artistic characteristics.Modern architectural design should reflect The Times and regions.The combination of traditional spatial form and modern architectural practice is an important aspect of contemporary architectural development.Chinese modern architectural design should draw nutrients from traditional architectural space.The starting point of the author’s thesis is the design of the Liuxiang Heyuanshanju Hotel,the unique local geographical conditions,and the architectural type of small boutique hotel,which makes it necessary for us to learn from lingnan garden.The research object of this paper is the Liuxiang Heyuanshanju Hotel under the mountain shape and water potential.Taking Liuxiang Heyuanshanju Hotel as an example,this paper studies the application method construction of traditional lingnan garden space in modern architecture.Firstly,by means of literature collection,field research,case analysis and comparison,and systematic research,this paper has a basic understanding of the concept of traditional lingnan garden,and expounds the significance and relevance of traditional lingnan garden space in modern architectural creation.Next to introduce research methods of typology,for specific building types-the traditional lingnan garden-analysis and prototype,and analyses its characteristics,analyzed spatial layout,spatial form elements and contrast material,case studies,get the traditional space of modern design strategies,puts forward a set of traditional lingnan garden to the modern architectural design methods in the system;Based on the above analysis and discussion,the core content of this article on the Liuxiang Heyuanshanju Hotel analysis of the design process,focus on writing space layout,space form factor and material comparison,more follow type analysis-type conversion of the train of thought,in this case the design process,and analyzes the design results and reflection.At last,the following conclusions are drawn.From the perspective of cognition,we should inherit and carry forward the architectural design philosophy with the traditional courtyard space as the carrier and the response of the traditional courtyard organization to the regionalism.On the practical level,taking the Liuxiang Heyuanshanju Hotel as an example,this paper constructs the strategy of the application of traditional lingnan garden in modern architectural design,and practices the guiding principles of the modern architectural design of traditional lingnan garden.At last,on the level of methodology,the above theories and practices are summarized to obtain the experience and methods of the application of traditional lingnan garden space in modern architectural design,so as to provide reference for the development of China’s architectural design and the dissemination of traditional architectural culture.
