Study On The Strategic Of Qingdao Port In Resource-Integration View

With the progress of China's economy,China's port industry has undergone several transformation and upgrading,and the port industry is facing a new stage of development.On the one hand,after the dramatic expansion period of the beginning of this century,the situation of overcapacity in the port industry began to emerge,and the competition in the industry became increasingly fierce,and the profitability of enterprises was declining.After entering the new century,at the same time,the instability of the world economy,particularly in the US subprime mortgage crisis triggered a global economic crisis,poses a great blow to international trade,trade protectionism,international trade is shrinking,port and waterway industry first and foremost,a large number of ports that bankruptcy enterprise management difficulties,and the influence continues till today,even the port enterprises operating environment are increasingly serious.For enterprise to survive and get advantage in the competition,each big port businesses have begun to resource integration strategy,upgrading their business structure,thus a whole industry transformation and upgrading in sight.On the other hand,the theory and practice of supply chain management have been further developed in recent years.The international management of supply chain has blurred the national boundaries and gradually formed the international supply chain hub with international ports as the center.The deep penetration of supply chain management to the port industry brings challenges to traditional port enterprises,and also brings opportunities for the transformation and upgrading of port enterprises.As the transnational supply chain management is becoming more and more mature,port enterprises is more and more deeply involved with them,this is an inevitable trend,therefore requires port enterprises to adjust development strategy as soon as possible,convert development ideas,integrate related resources,to complete the role transformation as soon as possible,to meet the requirements of supply chain management;And the progress of information technology,for port enterprises to actively participate in the world of the supply chain management,go deeply into the chain of supply chain management provides a way of implementation,therefore actively integrating resources,transformation and upgrading as port enterprises inevitable choice.Qingdao port as an international port,its development is faced with various problems,especially after the crisis,Qingdao is faced with excess capacity,business growth is difficult,the existing service function can't meet the growing needs of the business,organization setup bloated,function repetition and resource waste all sorts of problems,such as a port in the industry generally carries on the transformation and upgrading of the new period,the Qingdao port must be faced with the choice.This paper aims to study the resource integration strategy of Qingdao port and put forward constructive suggestions.This paper adopts the research method of theoretical guidance practice.First of all,by reading a large number of literatures,the author summarizes the theory of resource integration and the academic achievements of the enterprise strategy theory,and introduces this paper as the theoretical basis.Second,with the convenience of my own work,field investigation,questionnaire,interviews with relevant staff,and access to corporate and government related literature material method to analyze the present situation of Qingdao port resources,and put forward the problems of Qingdao port in terms of resource integration,as well as the necessity of resources integration.On the basis of using PEST,"five models and SWOT analysis and other research methods,the Qingdao port resource integration research strategic environment and strategic choice of Qingdao port,according to the results of the study of Qingdao port to take the combination of S-O resource integration strategy,and the strategy put forward,such as" make full use of policy resources ","actively participate in and dominate the regional port industry consolidation" such as the implementation of specific advice.
