In recent years,plastic molding technology has become more widely used in the automotive industry,and it shows high performance advantages.The prosperity of the vehicle field can not be separated from the rapid development of the mold parts manufacturing industry,relevant statistics show that the current amount of plastic on cars have reached about 12%.Plastic mold parts on vehicle are generally thin-wall plastic parts,including skylight plastic parts which change the traditional ventilation methods and make the air in the car circulate,skylight plastic parts play increasingly important roles in the use of vehicle.However,there are still many problems in the production of skylight molds.For example,complex plastic parts surfaces are not easy to shape,and product quality are not easily ensured.Based on the above,through the application the injection mold CAD technology and injection molding CAE technology,taking skylight frame parts as an example,firstly,the molding process of plastic parts are discussed in the paper,and do preliminary theoretical analysis of the numerical simulation of skylight plastic parts,including analyze the mathematical theory of the skylight plastic parts in the filling stage,packing stage and cooling stage,and research the mathematical theory of warping deformation;then the initial mold of plast ic parts are design in the paper,and simulate injection molding process of plastic parts,and optimize the injection parameters by analyzing the causes of the deformation of the plastic parts,and provide guidance for mold production.The specific research content is as follows:(1)Taking the thin-walled part of skylight frame as an example,through the use of Pro/E software to design the injection mold,and apply Moldflow software and orthogonal test to analyze the relevant influencing factors of plastic part deformation,which set the warpage deformation of the injection molding part as an optimization index and set the injection temperature,mold temperature,injection time,holding time,holding pressure as variables,and set four factor levels for each variable,16 orthogonal experiments are carried out in the paper,and use the range analysis method to analyze experimental results and find out the effect of these factors on the warpage of the product,which we get the injection time > holding time> mold temperature> holding pressure> injection temperature.(2)Perform single-factor experiments and analyze the relationship between various factors and warpage,The process parameters for obtaining the minimum amount of warpage are A2B3C3D4E2,which the injection temperature is set 290?,the mold temperature is set 80?,the injection time is set 0.75 s,and the holdin g time of 3.5s,holding pressure is set 75 Mpa,the deformation of the part is generally around 0.68 mm,the deformation does not exceed 1.1 mm.In the molding of products,through the use of numerical simulation technology to study the injection molding parts,the shrinkage,warpage and others of the products can be discovered timely,and the deformation of plastic parts also can be controlled.Numerical simulation technology plays an important role in improving the precision of automotive plastic parts and shortening the products development cycle.
