With the rapid development of China's economy,the electricity consumption of industry,agriculture,commerce and residents has increased substantially every year.Electricity is a kind of clean energy,which can effectively reduce pollution.With the advocacy of clean energy all over the world,the demand for electricity has become greater and greater.China has vigorously developed smart power grids in recent years,and the production and use of electricity are roughly divided into power production,transmission,substation,power distribution,and electricity consumption.How to use electricity better and more safely is an important issue.Power users are now more concerned about the reliability of the power grid,especially the distribution network link closest to the user.Our country has a large territory and its terrain is rather complicated.Especially with the expansion of cities and the development of poverty alleviation in rural areas,the distribution network has become more and more complicated.Usually a main line will have many branches,and it is on the branches that the distribution network faults occur more often.This makes it very difficult to locate the fault point once a fault occurs on the branch.Design and develop a system that can accurately locate the faults in the distribution network is rather urgent.When the fault occurs,it can accurately locate the fault point,and then take quick and effective measures to ensure the normal operation of the power supply system.This paper aims at researching and designing an intelligent fault-location system for distribution network according to the current fault types in distribution network.It is mainly aimed at the power supply line of the 6kV neutral point of BaiYun Substation under Baotou Power Supply Bureau,which can locate the fault location by monitoring the current parameters on the line.The system uses single-chip technology,sensor technology,mutual inductance power technology,signal processing technology,wireless networking transmission technology,lithium battery power supply technology,etc.The monitoringterminal and the background server perform data transmission through wireless GPRS.The monitoring terminal monitors the three-phase currents A,B,and C on the line through the current sensor,and judges the short-circuit fault and single-phase grounding on the line based on the collected current information.Because of the special nature of the distribution network monitoring environment,Zigbee wireless networking technology is used for data transmission between different phases to ensure that the data transmission is more stable and safer under the premise of low-power terminal operation.The power supply problem on the line adopts mutual induction power supply technology to overcome the shortcomings of solar power supply,and at the same time it uses a lithium battery power supply backup solution.This paper provides a specific implementation plan and completes the design of the monitoring terminal.In addition,it has been applied to the BaiYun substation line successfully to realize the monitoring and positioning of the distribution network fault,which is of great practical value.
