| New energy vehicles are a strategic emerging industry and represent the future of the development of the automobile industry.From the perspective of the international market,new energy automobile companies must have strong technological innovation capabilities to gain a competitive advantage in the increasingly fierce market competition.As the world faces urgent problems such as energy shortages and excessive carbon emissions,the new energy automobile industry has a broad market prospect and is in a stage of rapid development,but at the same time it has the characteristics of strong technological innovation and high requirements for enterprise innovation capabilities.As a result,the dynamic capabilities and corporate technological innovation models of new energy vehicle companies have received great attention from the industry and academia.Dynamic capabilities are the ability to change corporate technological innovation capabilities,and technological innovation models are a key component of technological innovation.Both Interaction and co-evolution are essential for new energy automobile companies to improve their technological innovation level and promote the development of the new energy automobile industry.On the basis of reviewing related theories and existing literature,this article selects two new energy vehicle companies,BYD and Tesla,to conduct exploratory longitudinal case studies to study the relationship between dynamic capabilities and technological innovation models in the development of internationalization.The relationship clarifies that the technological innovation mode of new energy automobile companies is divided into closed innovation mode and open innovation mode,and the open innovation mode is the main in the process of internationalization.Then summarized the dimensions of the dynamic capabilities of new energy vehicle companies and their evolution from single to complex,and found that when dynamic capabilities match the technological innovation model,companies can improve their innovation capabilities,master core technologies and maintain sustained competitiveness,and further refine The "IDT" theoretical model of internationalization of enterprise—dynamic capabilities—technological innovation model.The research results show that:(1)The gradual deepening of internationalization in the development of new energy automobile companies,the gradual fierce competition in the international market,and the changes in technological development are essentially the increase in the degree of internationalization of the company.(2)The dynamic capabilities of new energy vehicle companies are essentially a combination of capabilities,covering environmental insights,acquisition and absorption capabilities,and integration and reconstruction capabilities.Dynamic capabilities in various dimensions include multiple micro-structure foundations.(3)The dynamic capabilities of new energy automobile companies are dynamically changing,and the capability dimension will adjust and evolve with the development of the company and changes in the degree of internationalization.With the advancement of internationalization,the dimension of dynamic capabilities has evolved from single to complex.Dynamic capabilities play a leading role in the different development stages of the enterprise.The dimensions of the capabilities are different,and the dynamic capabilities continue to evolve from single to complex,and the overall level of dynamic capabilities is gradually rising.(4)When the dynamic capabilities in the international development of new energy automobile companies match the technological innovation model,it is conducive to the improvement of the technological innovation level.The research reveals the internal evolution logic of technological innovation of new energy vehicle companies,and constructs a model of technological innovation and dynamic capability evolution in the process of corporate internationalization.For new energy vehicles in the development of corporate internationalization,strengthen dynamic capabilities and select matching technologies.Innovative models,so as to achieve technological breakthroughs and master core technologies,have certain exploratory value and practical significance.It is helpful to enrich the theory of technological innovation and dynamic capabilities of enterprises,and can provide new energy automobile companies at different growth stages to adjust their dynamic capabilities and technological innovation models according to their own internationalization,international market status,technological trends,and core capabilities of the enterprise.Suggestions and references are provided. |
