Automobile is the primary method for short-distance transportation of coal between the coal mine regions and surrounding provinces.Nowadays,the vehicles in the coal yard are mostly dispatched manually,which suffers from drawbacks such as low shipping efficiency and non-standardized vehicle management.In addition,the accuracy and reliability of data cannot be guaranteed.To ensure that coal transportation vehicles can load coal quickly and stably,this research focuses on the automatic identification and scheduling of these vehicles in the coal yard based on the assumption that the transportation path is relatively fixed.It mainly includes the following contents:To automatically obtain vehicle information,check the driving status of the vehicle,and regulate the driving route of the vehicle,computer vision technology is employed for vehicle identification to determine the vehicle's model and license plate number.Considering uneven contrast and lacking details of video image caused by nonuniform illumination and poor lighting in the evening,an image enhancement algorithm based on the bright channel a prior is proposed to suppress the excessive light area and enhance the dark area.In addition,the SSD(Single Shot MultiBox Detector)algorithm is applied for vehicle detection and model identification to meet the real-time detection requirements.To detect license plate number,CTPN(Connectionist Text Proposal Network)is employed,which achieves a recall rate of 97%.CRNN(Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network)is used for character recognition of license plates without character segmentation and is with an accuracy of 96.8%.Since coal types and loading stations are multiple,the station allocation algorithm is introduced to assign a specific loading station to a vehicle,which can reduce waiting time and increase working efficiency.To avoid the mismatch between the expected coal type and actual coal type,the matching principle of the loading station is designed.During the process of coal loading and transportation,the hardware equipment is managed in a comprehensive way and data is uploaded to the database,which can realize information sharing and reduce various signature confirmation links.In addition,loading speed can be accelerated and the reliability of the data can be enhanced.This research includes the study of coal yard vehicle identification and scheduling system.The database is used to share the information of hardware equipment during the entire process.The stations are allocated to vehicles to reduce waiting time,thus improving coal loading efficiency and increasing financial benefits.In addition,the reliability and accuracy of measurement data can be enhanced and the interests of coal yards can be protected.Owing to the standardized vehicle management,coal transportation is in an order.Apart from these advantages,the labor and working intensity of dispatchers can be reduced effectively.The thesis contains 55 figures,8 tables and 92 references.
