In recent years,as the continuous improvement of industrialization and living electrification,the power grid industry has also been developed rapidly.The number of substations is increasing,and the equipment in substations is also being updated.At present,integrated automation system has been widely used in substations.The stable operation of the integrated automation system can monitor and control the state of the equipment correctly,which affects stabilization of the power grid.However,the research shows that the defect rate of integrated automation equipment will increase greatly when it has been in operation for more than 12 years,which will affect the safety of the power grid seriously.Therefore,the timely modification of integrated automation system will be an important measure to improve the stability of the power grid system.Due to the large number of substations,the shortage of team members,the limitation of power outage time and some other factors,the comprehensive modification of substations could not be carried in time.Therefore,how to improve the efficiency of the modification of integrated substation,to reduce the industrial costs,to reduce the power outage time,are the key points of this paper.Based on the above problems,this paper puts forward a new way of integrated substation modification—— The original panel modification.According to the different protection equipment and its voltage grade,it is divided into two ways: "The Base Plate reuse" and "the original panel wiring".For on-site installation device,adopt the way of "The Base Plate reuse".The key point of this method is to replace the automation device directly without changing the original circuit and wiring as little as possible.The advantages of this method are that it can shorten the time of equipment outage,reduce the engineering cost and improve the work efficiency.In the meantime,the original panel modification also has a strict requirement on the size of the device before and after the modification.If the conditions are not qualified,the new device needs to be re-developed.For panel installation device,adopt the way of "the original panel wiring".The key point of this method is to replace the device and to rewire the second cable between device backplate and terminal row,with the original panel and external cables been reuesd.The advantages of this method are to reduce the reconstruction workload,reduce the cost of materials,and solve the problem of insufficient space in the main control room.Meanwhile,this method also requires higher insulation and wiring accuracy of external cables.Taking 110 k V Yang J substation as an example,combined with substation protection and automation system configuration,four initial plan are drawd up in this paper.Through comparative analysis,the optimal scheme is finally selected.According to the relay protection setting calculation rules of Southern power grid,a simple setting calculation is been performed.During the transformation of 110 k V Yang J substation,the modification time of a single set of 10 k V on-site device can be reduced to less than 4 hours by optimizing the acceptance procedure and making plans.Meanwhile,in order to pre-test the device,a multifunctional platform was built,used for pre-acceptance of logic,signal,sampling,remote control and other functions.With this platform,the device can be "plug and play",the workload is been reduced during power outage of h V equipment.By comparing the power outage time,total project time and total project investment of the conventional and original panel modification methods,it is found that the original panel modification strategy can effectively solve the contradiction between the large amount of substation to be reconstructed and the low efficiency of modification in the power grid.Compared with the traditional modification,the original panel modification method reduces the time of reconstruction by 50% and the economic cost of reconstruction by34%.A single 10 k V feeder modification required time also reduced to 4 hours,which will meet the upper limit of power outage time for users.In general,the original panel modification strategy can effectively shorten the time of equipment outage,reduce the engineering cost and improve the work efficiency,which can be widely promoted and applied.At the same time,the original panel modification of cross-manufacturer device will become the next research direction.By comprehensively analyzing the possibility of cross-manufacturer original panel modification,the original panel modification can not only be applied to the device of specific manufacturers,but also be able to carry out the technical renovation work of substation within the power grid in a comprehensive and thorough way to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
