Switching devices are very common in our life,with the progress of science and technology,switching devices are also developing.The development of switch devices has gone through the first generation of pull switch,the second generation of button switch,the third generation of rocker switch,and has developed into the fourth generation of intelligent switch.However,no matter how the switch develops,its function of electrical on-off control will not change.Electrical switch is divided into soft switch and hard switch.Soft switch focuses on the development of software,such as fingerprint lock,iris lock and other products,they are through the acquisition of human biological characteristics to achieve the purpose of switch control;hard switch focuses on mechanical performance,the product studied and designed in this paper belongs to the category of hard switch.Hard switch was invented in 1879,and its development has been relatively slow.In recent years,with the continuous progress of technology,switches are developing in new directions,such as intelligent,more comfortable visual and tactile experience.In order to meet the better visual experience,NKK switches of Japan developed OLED button switch with display function in 2008,and won the excellent design award of Japan in 2008.In 2017,the company improved the OLED button switch for mass production,which is mainly used in military ships,aircraft control rooms,industrial control rooms and large conference control rooms.This kind of button switch with display function belongs to the fourth generation switch.It not only has the mechanical properties of the second generation switch,but also can satisfy the better visual experience.As a new trend of switch development,it is favored by users for its light weight,small size,exquisite appearance and good pressing feel.However,its shortcomings are obvious.Firstly,the product has poor protection performance,such as exposed metal contact of internal components and insufficient strength of upper surface devices,resulting in poor environmental adaptability;secondly,the product has many parts,complex assembly process and low production effi ciency;finally,the driving capacity of its drive system is insufficient,which can only drive one or two switch products at the same time At present,only static pictures are displayed in the display content.In this paper,a full screen OLED dynamic video display button switch is designed according to the shortcomings of the existing display switch products.It has been competitive bidding for the specified product of a military ship control room,and has achieved mass production.The advantages of the product designed in this paper are mainly shown in three aspects:firstly,the OLED display screen is combined with the traditional switch,which can display the switch content with characters or pictures,which can effectively avoid misoperation;secondly,through theoretical analysis,the classic optical principle is applied to the product design,which overcomes the disadvantages of OLED display due to packaging technology At last,the switch driver system is developed,which can change the display content through code programming and realize the dynamic video display function.In the process of product development,SolidWorks software is used for structural drawing design,3D printing sample verification,small batch production of mold parts,product performance test and other steps.Finally,a full screen dynamic video display switch with higher protection performance and more convenient production and assembly is formed.At the same time,for the convenience of users,this paper designs a set of matching switch array drive system.The drive system has gone through the process of schematic drawing,PCB design,board making,assembly and debugging from the development to implementation.At the same time,Keil uVision 5 software is used to complete the code writing and debugging.The full screen OLED dynamic video display button switch and its driving system have been tested and modulated for many times.Finally,the stable and reliable operation of the product is realized,and the expected target of mass production is achieved.In addition,the product designed in this paper has applied for one national invention patent,two utility model patents and one international patent,and has formed independent intellectual property rights.
