With the rapid development of Chinese society,the amount of sports buildings in China has been continuously increasing.The construction of sports buildings reflects not only the strength of Chinese economy but also Chinese people’s demand for such type of buildings under such social environment.The outdoor space of sports buildings,which takes up a large area of land and huge amount of urban resources,is usually difficult to be properly used for various reasons,which caused the outdoor space being idled for a long time.Therefore,at the beginning of the design of sports buildings,it is an important direction for the future design and development of sports buildings to intensively consider the outdoor space,reduce the idle land,and improve the efficiency of space use.This thesis will put the research focus on analyzing the outdoor space characteristics of the building of sports in cold areas from three aspects of site intensification,which includes energy saving,land saving,and high efficiency,to explore how to create a reasonable,comfortable and practical outdoor venue space through the preliminary site design.First of all,the thesis defines and analyzes the main characteristics of the building of sports in cold areas.The research focus of the thesis is determined based on the first-hand data indicators obtained through a large amount of data collection and fieldwork.Then,the relevant theory of the field is applied to extract the various factors that can influence the whole built environment field.Based on the different degree of influence,the thesis will analyze the intensive design methods and strategies for the outdoor field of cold-land building of sports under the influence of climate,environment,activity and other factors.Also,two simulation software Phoenics and Ecotect are used to simulate and analyze some field factors that are difficult to measure and find the influence range and change rule of factors.Besides,the thesis divides and interprets various types of spaces in the venue based on the spatial characteristics of the sports building.According to the intensiveness of the space,the various forms of space in the site are divided into two types,which are solid space and elastic space.Intensive strategies and design method are purposed based on these two types of space.Finally,based on the topological related theories,the thesis topologically correlates each part of the space and field factors according to their interaction relationship,establishes a topological model of the outdoor venue of sports buildings of cold area,and demonstrates and optimizes it with actual projects.From the perspective of intensive design,the thesis conducts strategic analysis and intensive optimization of the outdoor space of the building of sports based on the relevanttheories of the field,from the three directions of energy saving,land saving,and efficient use.The thesis constructed a holistic research model from microscopic field factors to actual spatial functions to macroscopic building environment fields.At the same time,the thesis constructed an intensive topological model of outdoor venues for cold sports buildings,and tried to create a reasonable,comfortable,and regional outdoor sports space-intensive design strategies and methods for building of sports of cold area,which these strategies and methods can provide a reference for architects in the intensive design of the site.
