Colleges and universities as a kind of important cultural construction in our country, nearly10years rapid development, especially the construction of new campus model, have been in constant exploration to move forward. Can from by the earliest church university in our country, to the Soviet model of axial layout university, to the freedom, there is a clear functional partition of the university, until recently emerging in the historical evolution of intensive university, see the new tendency of the development of the university, according to the traditional system set pavilion, scattered point layout of teaching organization mode is gradually being integration, intensive, can accommodate more professional and discipline teaching space organization mode.And intensive teaching of construction in China, from2000up to date has now been more than ten years, there are a large number of new campus as an example, there is no lack of among them excellent design, but there are also with great feeling bad, spatial scale, regional scale is poorer, the use of coefficient is low wait for a phenomenon.In this paper, the typical intensive teaching cases for over a decade, through quantitative analysis and field investigation, summarized as giant structure type, series, compound type and format of the four basic types, and carries on the detailed summary. The research focus is mainly cold climate zone in our country colleges and universities, due to the regional climate characteristics, teachers’ and students’ activities will be affected by a certain, so the design needs to pay more attention to grasp on the space to surround close dimension of communication as well as the warm winter indoor system construction, etc.In addition, based on the existing literature and case summary, several practical investigation on each type of intensive teaching organization model was extended to expand, such as giant structure type, there may be a form of cubic construction, yard-how to combine the organization in tandem, mesh format may produce other forms of topology, and so on. At last, through the actual project design, the article summarizes some beneficial conclusions on them and summarizes the design strategy, theory with practice, to test intensive teaching in cold climate zone.
