Under the general background of the growing intense competition in the auto market,how to reduce the vehicle production cost,accelerate the development of new models,improve vehicle quality,and enhance market competitiveness are not only the key points to be considered by OEMs,but also the key to be paid close attention to by components suppliers.Therefore,all auto enterprises need to start from their own actual situation,actively explore internal and external management optimization measures,and strive to upgrade the entire supply chain efficiency.Timing,quality and cost are the three elements of project management.In the process of project management,great attention must be paid to project planning,project execution and project monitoring.Through effective planning of activities related to supplier management,actively promote the active cooperation between automobile enterprises and suppliers,strive to achieve a win-win situation,which is conducive to the project to achieve a balance between timing,quality and cost,and help to achieve the project target.This paper takes supplier management of J Company as the research object.On the basis of systematically elaborating relevant theories of enterprise supplier management,this paper analyzes the shortcomings of J Company in supplier selection and other aspects,and finds out the problems in supplier management and analyzes the causes of the problems.Then,taking a new model project as a case,it introduces a series of activities adopted by J Company in terms of supplier management in order to ensure the project to be put into production on schedule with better cost,high quality,and smooth operation.For example,it optimizes the supplier procurement strategy and supplier selection criteria to acquire quality suppliers.Actively interact with suppliers,jointly establish and maintain partnerships,gain high recognition and active cooperation from suppliers,help suppliers to ensure project schedule,improve product quality,etc.,and finally achieve win-win cooperation.Finally,in view of the existing problems of J Company,the paper puts forward suggestions.It is expected that it could bring some valuable references for domestic.automobile enterprises,especially those enterprises with commercial vehicles as the leading products,to ensure the project quality and project schedule in the development process of new model projects.
