With the drastic development of auto manufacturing industry,more and more auto OEMs enlarge the market scales domestically and develop suitable supply chain to meet their needs.In order to meet the low cost,high quality and on time delivery targets,the requirement of OEMs is getting more and more strict.For tier one supplier,they also take more responsibilities for managing their sub-suppliers.Supplier quality management plays a very important role for companies which raw material cost takes high proportion among the enterprise operation.Meanwhile,supply risk increased with the economy globalization,it becomes a hot topic for more and more companies on how to recognize,manage and control risks from suppliers in order to eliminate supply chain interruption.Based on the transparency of cost and similarity of delivery time,supplier quality management shows great importance and it has become a key factor to the competition of supply chain management.This dissertation implements research on the supplier quality management of auto parts company which is short for "D".From the real situation of D's supplier quality management,the dissertation tries to identify the principal problems from launch stage to series stage by summarizing and studying the theory of supply chain and supplier quality management,figures out the root causes,makes related improvements.The dissertation mainly focuses on supplier evaluation and option and raises an improved selection methods by fuzzy comprehensive evaluation at the launch stage of a new project;during the series production stage,the dissertation applies statistical process control method at supplier side in order to set a quality alarm for incoming parts.Related processes are designed to carry out factory validation with different types of changes initiated from suppliers with rational use of cross-function resource.Identify and evaluate potential opportunities from changes for improvement,and obtain leadership support from the perspective of exploiting opportunities.Optimize the claim process of supplier quality issues.Increase the close rate of cost recovery and reduce the total tracking time.Since there are lots of applicable cases selected from D,the successful experience from these cases can make references for other companies.
