| Affected by the financial crisis at the beginning of 2000,the ship market is in a relatively sluggish state.In 2016,after nearly 30 years at a low point,the global shipbuilding order volume began to pick up modestly,the ship market is also in a difficult slow forward.A major problem facing China’s shipbuilding industry is how to forge ahead in a difficult market environment.As a manufacturing enterprise in the shipbuilding industry,the production cycle of products is long,the design customization rate is high,the quality requirements are high,the corresponding supplier raw materials require small batch,complex varieties,high quality requirements.Generally,shipbuilding enterprises purchase a wide variety of raw materials,which account for60%~70% of the product cost.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to strengthen supplier management and establish a good partnership with suppliers in order to improve the product quality and service level of suppliers and improve the operational efficiency of enterprises.In this paper,on the basis of the theory of supply chain management,supplier management as the guiding ideology,combined with the market rule of ship industry,and the characteristics of the supply chain,through the investigation about the present situation of KM company supplier management,summarizes the existing order turnover rate is high,the material delivery date is not timely,material inspection qualified rate is low,the causes of the main problems are analyzed and discussed.There are mainly the following aspects: lack of new supplier development process and reserve,lack of supplier classification management,lack of supplier performance evaluation,lack of supplier relationship management awareness.According to the analysis results,put forward targeted solutions and related measures to optimize supplier management,including supplier classification and management;Establish new supplier reserves;Supplier performance evaluation;Continuous improvement,etc.Through this management improvement,we hope to improve the management level of KM’s suppliers,improve the efficiency of its procurement operation,enhance its competitiveness and market adaptability,and better cope with the complex market environment. |
