In recent years,with the rapid development of medical device industry,the large number of medical device companies have blossomed,which bring a big competition in the medical device industry.To make a profit,some of the medical device companies take a risk to manufacture and sell inferior products.For example,poison capsules and fake vaccines occurred and cause the serious damage to the people,which gave the medical device industry and its employees the alarm notice.Therefore,the administration enacted the stricter regulations to direct the development of medical device industry including medical device manufacturers and the entire supply chain of medical device industry.Therefore,medical device companies will ensure the company's internal production operations and control the different nodes upstream and downstream including the entire supply chain to meet the requirement of regulation.If an enterprise will develop at a healthy and stable way,its management team must have a reasonable positioning for the product development,and effectively select suppliers which are compatible with their own development requirement and manage them efficiently.The development of the company will be ensured on the right track.This research applies the theory of modern supplier management to study the supplier management at OrbusNeich.At first,the supplier management status of OrbusNeich was described,and the supplier's low performance of OrbusNeich at supplier management system including not on time the order delivery,not stable quality which brings the problems such as a large number of return were found by using questionnaire,brainstorming method,statistical process control methods and tools.In order to investigate the root cause of supplier management weakness at OrbusNeich Medical,the experts meeting was organized to discuss and analyze the current weakness of supplier management of OrbusNeich and summarized that the development process of supplier is not reasonable,the supplier selection evaluation standard should be improved,supplier selection and evaluation index is not clear,supplier performance evaluation mechanism and supplier classification management methods are not suitable,which is the finding of root cause.Finally with the help of modern advanced supplier management theory,using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),statistical process control,quality function deployment(QFD)method such as the optimization of reasons put forward practical and effective solutions,so as to scientific management,the suppliers' suppliers play an important role in enterprise management,to support the continuous expansion of business scale,realize the company established strategic objectives.The practical value of this study lies in that it can directly guide the optimization of supplier management of OrbusNeich and similar enterprises,and provide a learning and reference model for the supplier management of small and medium-sized high medical device enterprises.
