Research On The Living Protection Strategy Of Urban Waterfront Industrial Heritage

Under the background of China’s urban development from incremental expansion to stock optimization,a large number of waterfront industrial heritages have been formed due to industrial transformation and upgrading,land function replacement and other reasons.As a specific strategy to continue the overall value of heritage,living protection has significant research significance and application value in the protection of urban waterfront industrial heritage.Firstly,this paper combs the basic contents of industrial types,constituent elements and current status of urban waterfront industrial heritage,and points out the problems existing in the current protection of urban waterfront industrial heritage.On this basis,this paper analyzes the prominent advantages of the living protection strategy,defines the specific advantages of the strategy in the living protection of urban waterfront industrial heritage,and puts forward the overall goal of protecting industrial value,promoting functional development and building social identity,as well as the protection principles of authenticity,openness and dynamics.Finally,through summarizing and combing the relevant practice cases at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the specific implementation strategies of the active protection of urban waterfront industrial heritage from the three levels of planning,organization and experience by means of literature induction,case analysis,drawing and field research,and applies it to the Jianbi Lock Project of Zhenjiang section of the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal.
