The Research On The Protection Effectiveness Evaluation Of Wild Plants Nature Reserves

The nature reserve ecological and management effectiveness evaluation at home and abroad was studied through the integrated analysis,and a set of protection effectiveness evaluation index system of Chinese wild plant national nature reserve was built according to the application of expert consultation method and analytic hierarchy process(APH)based on the establishment of protected areas in our country and the actual situation of wild plant national nature reserve,which was composed of eight factors 30 index and the eight indexes of add-ons and covered ecological effectiveness evaluation,management effectiveness evaluation and human impact assessment.Through on-the-spot investigation and preliminary evaluation of Chishui Alsophila national nature reserve in Guizhou and Fangcheng Camellia national nature reserve in Guangxi,we adjusted and perfected the index system based on the problems found during the research,the objective of this study is to find a method that is suitable for protection effectiveness evaluation of Chinese wild plant nature reserve and can be applied in the promotion of scientific construction,effective management of natural reserve and scientific protection of wild plant resources.Wid plant nature reserves being tended for wild plant species,especially rare and endangered plants and important economic plants species and their natural habitat.Chishui Alsophila national nature reserve belongs to the type of wild plant nature reserve which regard Alsophila spinulosa,Camellia luteoflora and other rare and endangered plants and their forest ecological system as the main object of protection was chosen as the studied area,is near the Chishui River and belongs to Chishui city in northern Guizhou,is located in the northwest slope of Daloushan mountain north branch belongs to Guizhou plateau,the region is the slope zone which connected Guizhou plateau to the Sichuan basin,the geographical position coordinates:longitude 105 ° 57 ??106°07?,north latitude 28°20??28° 30?.The protection effectiveness of Chishui Alsophila national nature reserve is evaluated,the results are analyzed and the appropriate suggestions are put forward in this paper.The results of the evaluation are summarized as follows:(1)Chishui Alsophila national nature reserve protection effects are better than average,of which the protection effectiveness evaluation results of 83.4 for "good"rating,including ecological effectiveness rating 80 points for the "good",management effectiveness rating 81 points for the "good",the partition 3 points.(2)The representative and suitability evaluation effect of Chishui Alsophila national nature reserve is generalAlsophila spinulosa as the key protected object presents an increase in the number,expansion in distribution range and population structure in growth,however,the phenomenon of Alsophila spinulosa damage and habitat destruction is still existed.(3)In Chishui Alsophila national nature reserve,there are some protection threats which can bring the destruction and influence,including deforestation Phyllostachys edulis,firewood collection,dig bamboo shoots and the tourism development projects ect.(4)Diversity and rarity evaluation result is preferablyin Chishui Alsophila national nature reserve with the rich plant species and endemic and rare species.According to two field investigations,19 species of new reserve record plants are found,including 8 species of new record plants in Guiuizhou province.(5)The clear range limit ownership,reasonable function division,perfect management system and proper daily patrol and propaganda formed the indicators which are assessed for full marks in the management effectiveness evaluation of Chishui Alsophila national nature reserve.The main defects of management embodied in less personnel,lack of professional and technical personnel,discontinuous and unscientific monitoring to the number and distribution of protection target,incomplete and irregular resource background investigation and few research collaboration.(6)Human factors assessment result for the pluses in Chishui Alsophila national nature reserve.In spite of the negative effect conducted by existing tourism development and residents' activity to the reserve resources,the artificial cultivation for protection object,community residents policy support and the monitoring system establishment have promoted the reserve development better.
