Negative Air Ions(NAI)were regarded as Air vitamin,growth hormone,longevity element.And its concentration was also designated as a key index to measure air quality.NAI not only had the function of dust-settling and sterilization,but also had function of disease prevention.It was good for health.After the "soot-type" and "type of photochemical smog" pollution,human beings was entering into the modern "indoor air pollution" as a symbol of the third generation of pollution period.Therefore,it significantly improved intramural air quality,by improving and retaining intramural NAI concentration.In this research,by conducting investigation in 13 species of indoor plants to produce NAI efficiently and its change of stomata results were as follows:1、Detection of NAI concentration generated by plants in natural state.Through measure and record NAI efficiently produced by 13 species plants as experimental material in natural state(0kV pulsed electric field),it was showed as following.In the 13 species,Aloe vera var.chinensis generated max NAI concentration(408.39 ion/cm3);Narcissus tazetta var.chinensis generated the second level of NAI concentration(394.00 ion/cm3);Saxifraga stolonifera generated the third level(3 84.83 ion/cm3);While Hippeastrum rutilum generated the low level(173.98 ion/cm3).From the analysis of average,the extent of NAI concentration is 173.98-408.39 ion/cm3,and the ensemble mean values of 13 species plants is 293.55 ion/cm3.Through make F-test of NAI concentration by 163species plants as experimental material in natural state,it was showed:NAI levels of different species(cultivars)of pot plants showed that there were significant differences between each two species(cultivars)(P=0.024<0.05).It was showed that NAI levels of different species plants have significant differences.2、Detection of NAI concentration generated by plants upon increasing voltage strengh electrical stimulation.(1)The measure and record of NAI concentration mean values generated by plants upon increasing voltage strengh electrical stimulation.Record and statistics NAI concentration by 13 species plants as experimental material upon increasing voltage strengh electrical stimulation(OkV、8kV、10kV、12kV、14kV and 16kV),it was showed as following.Under different intensities of pulsed electric field,the NAI concentration level of Zephyranthes carinata was most significant,the extent of mean values from 276749.86 ion/cm3 rise to 3631436.96 ion/cm3,which was 1366~17918 times in natural state.The second NAI concentration level of Iris tectorum is 4040371.67 ion/cm3,which was 15156 times in natural state.The third level is Aloe vera var.chinensis,the concentration of NAI was 4156268.23 ion/cm3,which was 10177 times in natural state.The low level of NAI concentration of Clivia miniata was 2529.41 ion/cm3,which was 11 times in natural state.(2)The curvilinear regression analysis of NAI concentration mean values generated by plants upon increasing voltage strengh electrical stimulation.The curvilinear regression analysis by 13 species plants was showed correlation;There was extremely significant difference between mean negative ions concentration;It can be set up corresponding curve regression equation between the pulsed electric field strength and the anion concentration under OkV-16k V.Besides Zephyranthes carinata,the other 12 kinds of plant can establish three curve fitting equation,the Mina lobata and Fatsia japonica in accordance with the quadratic curve equation and three curve equation.From this we can know,there was significantly correlation,related curve and equation between pulsed electric field and release negative ions concentration.Therefore there is a certain functional relation between negative ions concentration and pulse electric field intensity.3.The relationship between the leaf epidermis stomatal and NAI concentration of plants upon increasing voltage strengh electrical stimulation.The relationship between the leaf epidermis stomatal,voltage and ability to produce NAI of indoor plants were studied,the results showed that:The leaf epidermis stomatal of most indoor plants was significantly amplified when it was stimulated by pulsed electric field.The length,width,circumference and acreage maximizing of leaf epidermis stomatal was Zephyranthes carinata,Narcissus tazetta var.chinensis,Crinum asiaticum var.sinicum,Hippeastrum rutilum and Stromanthe sanguinea was most outstanding when Um=16kV;The length,width,circumference and acreage maximizing of leaf epidermis stomatal was Clivia miniata when Um=14kV;The length,width,circumference and acreage maximizing of leaf epidermis stomatal was Calathea zebrina Maxim when Um=10kV;Through analyse accrescent acreage multiple of epidermis stomatal,the Calathea zebrina showed the best,whose leaf epidermis stomatal was 4.58 times in natural state when it was stimulated,the concentration of NAI was reduced from 267 ion/cm3 to 58 ion/cm3.The second acreage was Stromanthe sanguinea,whose leaf epidermis stomatal was 3.60 times in natural state when it was stimulated,the concentration of NAI was increase sharply from 354.00 ion/cm3 to 1190822.70 ion/cm3.The variation alalysis of acreage of epidermis stomatal by 7 species plants was showed that there were 5 species plants showed highly significant differences(P=0.000)except(Crinum asiaticum var.sinicum and Hippeastrum rutilum.4.The relationship between the leaf epidermis stomatal density and NAI concentration of plants upon increasing voltage strengh electrical stimulation.The relationship between the leaf epidermis stomatal density,voltage and ability to produce NAI of 7 species plants were studied,the results showed that:The plant of leaf epidermis stomatal density maximizing was Stromanthe sanguinea,the maximum was 266.08 per square millimeter,which NAI concentration increased scope of multiple was 1233~4556 times.The plant of leaf epidermis stomatal density minimum was 1233~4556,the minimum was 18.92 per square millimeter,which NAI concentration increase scope of multiple was 11~434 times.Therefor there was no systematic relationship between epidermis stomatal density and NAI concentration increased multiples.It means there was no necessary link between epidermis stomatal density and NAI concentration.
