| Adzuki bean(Vigna angularis)is an ancient crop in China,meanwhile it is also important agricultural product in export,and yield and export amount ranks first all over the world.Drought stress seriously affected the yield and quality of adzuki beans.Entophyte can produce active substances similar to that of the host plant and enhance plants resistance,which thereby have a great application value.In the present study,adzuki beans(Jinhongxiaodou 3)was used to investigate the changes of seedling growth in response to different concentrations of water stress and secondary metabolites by endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba treatment,which not only provide the theoretical basis for the research of relief technology for water stress,but also lay the theoretical foundation and provide technical support for the development of endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba in agricultural new applications.The main results and conclusions are as follows:(1)Watert stress had inhibitory effect on seedling growth of adzuki beans.Water stress could seriously reduce the plant height,leaf area,biomass,the RWC of leaf,chlorophyll content,FM and FV/FM,FO increased in adzuki beans leaves.Water stress could enhance the activity of SOD and POD,and induced the leaves accumulation of the MDA content of adzuki beans seedlings.Soluble protein content decreased under water stress.And the inhibition increased with the increase of water stress.Irrigated the roots with endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba could alleviate the inhibition of seedling growth under water stress.(2)Under normal water condition,the application of the concentration of secondary metabolites by endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba were 50× could significantly increased the plant height,leaf area,biomass,the RWC of leaf,chlorophyll content and SOD and POD activity of adzuki beans seeding,decreased the content of MDA,indicating that this concentration of secondary metabolites by endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba worked best.After secondary metabolites by endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba could effectively mitigate adzuki beans seeding agronomic traits and physiologic indices inhibited trend,which the concentration of 50× and 10× treatment had significant effect under moderate water stress.By the treatment of given secondary metabolites by endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba,at the concentration of 10×,the treatment could significantly alleviate damage of adzuki beans seeding under severe water stress.The results showed that with the increase of water stress,the optimum irrigation root concentration increased,which indicated that secondary metabolites by endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba had a dose effect,and the required dose was required under different water conditions.(3)The effects of endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba on the growth and development of adzuki bean seedlings was the most significant at 25-day by comparing the total function value of agronomic traits and physiological indexes of adzuki beans seedlings between the three time periods(15 days,25 days and 35 days).The results showed that the effect of endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba on adzuki beans seeding was related to the degree of stress,the duration of stress and the concentration.In summary,water stress inhibited adzuki beans seedlings.Irrigated the roots with the secondary metabolites by endophyte P-5 from Ziziphus jujuba could promote the growth of the adzuki bean seedlings,and could alleviate the harm of the water stress on the adzuki bean seedlings,and enhanced the adaptability of adzuki bean to water stress.The best irrigation root concentration was 50× within 35 days under normal water conditions.The optimum irrigation root concentration were as follows:50×,50× and 10× in the three periods under moderate water stress.The optimum irrigation root concentration was 50× within 35 days under severe water stress. |
