Study On The Competitiveness Of Forestry Industry In Hunan Province

2018 is the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening-up policy.In the past 40 years,with the continuous development of the national economy,the forestry economy has gradually grown,the scientific and technological development level of forestry industry has been significantly improved,and the competitiveness of the forestry industry has steadily increased.Under the guidance of the "beautiful China"strategy,the forestry industry not only shoulders the important task of the national economic development,but also undertakes a major mission of the ecological civilization construction.Therefore,it occupies a very important position in China's economic development and the construction of ecological civilization.Hunan Province is a key province in the country's forestry industry.After the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy,the development of its forestry industry has also made significant achievements.However,due to the constraints of natural resources,market conditions,technological level,capital investment,and external environment,the healthy development of the forestry industry is facing various obstacles.Therefore,it is necessary to make an accurate and reasonable assessment of the competitiveness of Hunan's forestry industry,so as to find ways to improve the competitiveness of Hunan's forestry industry.This dissertation studies the competitiveness of Hunan's forestry industry.Taking the improvement of the competitiveness of forestry industry as a starting point and combining the development of Hunan's forestry industry,a model for assessing the competitiveness of Hunan's forestry industry was established based on the theory of industrial competitiveness,forestry economics,and regional economics.The index system is based on the indicators of competitiveness,market competitiveness,technical competitiveness,capital competitiveness,and external environmental competitiveness.Based on the constructed index system,a multi-index comprehensive evaluation and ranking strategy was used to comprehensively evaluate the competitiveness of Hunan's forestry industry,and the objective weight of each index was calculated based on the projection pursuit model.Then based on the evaluation result of the competitiveness of Hunan's forestry industry,the problems and deficiencies in the development of Hunan's forestry industry were identified.Based on this,the tactics of enhancing the overall competitiveness of Hunan's forestry industry in the fierce market competition were proposed.
