At present,there are already mature cassava harvesting machines in other countries,but such machines are designed for their national conditions and cassava planting conditions.It is not applicable to the planting situation in China.Before 2016,a series of cassava harvesting machines were introduced in China.However,such machines are generally less automated and require manual operations such as picking up.In 2016,Guangxi University developed a pull-out cassava harvester.The harvester simulates artificial pull-up and can achieve a better cassava extraction process.The harvesting effect is satisfactory.However,the cassava harvester exposed some problems in the test,which seriously hindered further development and promotion.This article aims at Guangxi University's original cassava harvester's problems,such as severe heat generation in hydraulic system and low control accuracy of pull-out speed.First,optimize the design of hydraulic system and electronic control system of the harvester,then the controller parameters were optimized using the pso algorithm.It is Combined with co-simulation to verify the rationality of electro-hydraulic system and control parameters and conducted the field trials.The results show that the optimized hydraulic system greatly reduces the amount of heat generated and can greatly increase the continuous working time.And the stability of the optimized electronic control system increases and the hydraulic shock decreases.Besides using the PSO algorithm optimized parameters makes the controller more precise and stable.
