Light is one of the important environmental factors that affect plant growth and development.The production of artificial light source is an important measure for agricultural cultivation.Cherry tomato(Lycopersicon esculentum Mill)as both leisure food and nutritional value of fruit,is very popular on the market in recent years.However,in the process of the planting season in north China,the short of light becomes an important factor influencing the production of cherry tomato.Artificial light supplement has become an important technology in the field of facility cultivation.Through exploring artificial light supplement and cherry tomato growth analysis,in order to provide the basis for future facilities fill light measures.In this study,to explore the different light qualities impacts on cherry tomato seed germination and seedling growth,different ratios of red(R)and blue light(RB)qualities on the seed germination and growth of cherry tomato seedlings were determined,compared to the treatment of white fluorescent light(CK).Results showed that different light qualities had different influences on seed germination of cherry tomato.The germination index of “GuiFeiHong F1” reached the highest under CK on the whole.While the “Fen BeiEr F1” were best under the R and the seed germination index of “FenMeiNiang F1”were significantly higher under R and RB than those of control.The fresh weight and length of radicle of the three varieties of cherry tomato seedlings were all reaching the highest.The light ratios of R and RB were better than the CK on promoting seed germination and seedling growth of “FenMeiNiang F1” and “FenBeiEr F1”,while the“GuiFeiHong F1”was better under CK.the B light quality had not positive effect on the three varieties.Different light qualities of LED had significant influence on the growth characteristics of cherry tomato seedlings.The red and lights ratios based on red promoted the plant height,leaf area,knot spacing,biomass accumulation,soluble sugar of cherry tomato seedling,obviously.R8/B2 compound light had a significant promotion on the growth of cherry tomato seedlings;The blue LED light was beneficial for diameter increment and increasing soluble protein content of leaves.The stem diameter reached the highest under the R2/B8.Under the 100% red,100% blue LED light and a combination based on red light,the content of chlorophyll and photosynthetic index significantly increased.On the contrary,the photosynthetic characteristics was worst under R1/B1 light quality.On the whole,the R8/B2 and 100% red light was suitable for the growth,photosynthetic rate and increasing the accumulation of organic compound of cherry tomato seedlings.
