With the improvement of living standards,consumers hope that they can eat fresh citrus throughout the year,and their citrus quality requirements are increasingly high.This is a challenge to our province’s present structure of the varieties of citrus.Although in recent years,we have breeded a number of early maturing and late maturing citrus varieties our province,it is difficult to have supplyment of fresh citrus all the year round,especially citrus varieties that will have matured from February to September and related cultivation techniques are limited.Early-ripening tangerine named "Da Fen" will be ripe in August and September。Late-ripening citrus hybrids named "Chun Xiang" and "Bu Zhihuo",fill in the blank of fresh citrus market from January to May.We have mastered the heating up cultivation techniques of citrus that makes the citrus mature more than 3 months earlier.The facility cultivation technology of "Shang Ye" and "Hong Meiren"prolongs early maturing citrus fruiting period to nearly 2 months.The late maturing winter cultivation technology makes citrus ripe from February to May.So there is fresh citrus in the market all the year round.
