Potato is the fourth largest staple crop in China.With the rapid growth of planting area and production,the post-harvest classified storage workload of potatoes has grown,and relying on the original manual sorting can not meet the requirement of industrial production.In order to improve the grading efficiency after the completion of potato collection,according to the division of potato ranks by the Ministry of Agriculture of the People’s Republic of China,intelligent and automated classification of potatoes is achieved.Based on the automatic potato grading machine,the control system and counting system of the automatic potato grading machine were designed.The main tasks are:(1)The control system design of Potato Automatic Grading Machine.51 MCU is adopted as the controller of the whole system,and the precise control of the cylinder movement is completed by controlling the relay.The cylinder is linearly arranged and there are 6 levels in total.The first cylinder is set to act after receiving the trigger signal for 10ms to superpose it.The sixth cylinder action needs to be carried out after receiving the trigger signal for 60ms.The time for setting the staged shutter to keep down is 500ms,which guarantees that the potatoes will be output in grades without hindering other potato transmissions.(2)The counting system design of Potato Automatic Grading Machine.The counting system also uses 51 MCU as the controller,adopts the photoelectric switch as the trigger signal source,and triggers the statistics number of one signal plus one,and the statistical result is displayed on the LCD 1602.The buzzer and the LED lamp are combined to perform statistical quantity alarm.Tip,set the alarm value for each level is 8,the total alarm value is 12.When the corresponding alarm value is reached,two kinds of alarm sounds will give corresponding alarm information.(3)Using Keil and Proteus software platform to complete the simulation experiment of the control system and counting system,the lighting and extinguishing time of the LED lamp replaced the cylinder action state,and the simulation test of the control system was completed.(4)The use of Altium Designer Release 10 software to complete the production of the hardware PCB board.Experiments show that the control system can accurately control the output of potatoes by grade,and the counting system can accurately and efficiently count the number of output potatoes.The combination of the control system and the counting system effectively improves the efficiency of potato grading storage,and can adapt to the production in the factory environment,with high scientific value and application value.
