With the development of science and technology and the continuous progress of society,the consumption of water resources has been increasing since twenty-first Century.Therefore,how to make rational use of limited water resources has become an issue of increasing concern.Since traditional irrigation technology can not meet the needs of modem irrigation methods,it is necessary to irrigate rationally in agricultural production and urban greening.With the continuous development and progress of the Internet of things industry and related technology,it is a trend to combine agricultural production with Internet of things to design a complete,intelligent and water-saving irrigation system to guide the agricultural production and reduce the waste of water resources.Therefore,a water-saving irrigation system based on Narrow-Band Internet of Things is studied and designed in this paper.In this paper,the intelligent control of water saving irrigation system is realized by using computer network,information collection and the rapid development of NB-IoT(narrow band network)technology in recent years.The hardware includes NB-IoT node module,temperature and humidity conductivity sensor and solenoid valve.The server side design has a simple and easy to use user interface.The operator can operate the equipment,control the switch of the solenoid valve through the man-machine interface,and can also inquire the real-time information of the soil temperature,humidity,moisture conductivity,irrigation quantity and so on.It can also manually add and delete equipment on the server side according to the situation of the field equipment,so as to realize remote real-time monitoring,increase and delete,query and so on.This part is developed using Java programming language.The mobile terminal enables operators to understand the on-site environmental information conveniently and quickly,and control the field equipment accordingly.The irrigation system realized timely and appropriate irrigation,which not only increased the crop yield but also greatly improved the utilization efficiency of water resources.This water-saving irrigation system is intelligent and efficient,reduces the burden of personnel,increases the productivity,and reduces the loss of resources with the technology of the network of narrow band,complies with the trend of the development of the Internet of things.
