In this paper,aiming at the degeneration and sustainable development of the gravel-mulched field in Ningxia,we conduct the varieties selection and water-fertilizer coupling effects test of the drought resisting and economical crop named the Cerasus humilis in the degraded gravel-mulched field.In order to select the better economic benefit varieties and get the proper combination blue print of water and fertilizer on the Cerasus Humilis,look forward to provide theoretical foundation to the sustainable development of the Cerasus humilis as well as gravel-mulched field industry.The main results are as follows:(1)Using camparision design,taking the 10 different varieties(lines)of three-years Cerasus humilis as the test materials,researching for the growth characteristics,photosynthesis and SPAD,soil moisture,yield as well as quality of fruit on Cerasus humilis in gravel-mulched field under the same conditions,and using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to the comprehensive benefit evaluation.The results show that the NO.5 has the best yield,so it has a better adaptation.The S-D is the tallest.The NO.4 has the highest calcium content,it has a better quality.Ranking the comprehensive benefits evaluation values of the different varieties of Cerasus humilis,No.6 is the best,following the 7-14,No.5,03-25,No.4,No.7,S-D,23-04,then is the 03-35,the worst is No.9.The Cerasus humilis bear fruits mainly depend on alienation pollination,we can select the NO.6,7-14 and NO.5 to plant in Gravel-mulched Field depend on the rank when seek for comprehensive benefits.Or if seek for the maximization of single factor,we also can choose S-D,NO.4,NO.5.(2)Adopting the two factors and three levels completely randomized experiment,setting for 3 irrigation quota levels(10m3/667m2,20 m3/667m2,30 m3/667m2)and 3 total fertilization levels(30kg/667m2,60kg/667m2 and 90kg/667m2),researching for the influence of the growth characteristics,photosynthesis and SPAD,yield as well as quality of fruit on Cerasus humilis in gravel-mulched field under the different combination of water and fertilizer.The results show that the irrigation quota is the main indicator that influence the yeild.At the same irrigation quota,rising the fertilization amount,the growth characteristics,photosynthesis and SPAD,yield show that AF>HF>LF,and the quality being worse.At the same fertilization amount,rising the irrigation quota,the growth characteristics,photosynthesis and SPAD,yield are promote,but the quality being worse.Combine every indicator,the irrigation quota of 20 m3/667m2(AW)and total fertilization of 60kg/667m2(AF)is the optimum combination of the experiment.
