Epidemiological Surveillance And Control Measures Of Brucellosis In Sheep In Jingtai County

Brucellosis is caused by brucellosis zoonosis seriously endangering human health,causing huge direct and indirect economic losses to the livestock husbandry production.In recent years,the disease epidemic both at home and abroad showed upward trend,It is imperative to control the spread of the disease.Jingtai County is located in the junction of Gansu,Ningxia,Inner Mongolia provinces,epidemiological survey of brucellosis in the region can do a good job not only reflects the incidence of brucellosis in the three provinces,but also help to establish brucellosis for the relevant areas Prevention and control measures to provide a reference.The Epidemiological Surveillance Analysis collected 66,934 unimmunized goat serums from 2014 to 2015 in Jingtai County,using the Ross-Bengal Plate Agglutination Test(RBPT)and the Standard Tube Agglutination Test SAT)serological test detected a total of 3129 positive number,the positive rate of up to 4.67%.Among them,21,116 serum samples were tested in 2014,with 646 positives,the positive rate was 3.06%;in 2015,45,818 serum samples were tested,of which 2483 were positive,with a positive rate of 5.42%.The positive rate in 2015 was 5.42%,significantly higher than 3.06% in 2014.In terms of sheep breeds,the yield of goat in this area was only 109213,which was significantly lower than 612721 sheep,but the positive rate of brucellosis in goats was 6.95%,significantly higher than 4.40% in sheep;The results showed that the infection rate of large-scale sheep breeding was the highest,with a positive rate of 7.92%,followed by the positive rate of 5.50% of the free-range households,with the fewest positive rates of 3.91%.Breeds of brucellosis awareness of farmers is not enough,and the lack of effective prevention and control measures,coupled with the frequent trading of sheep and a large number of circulation and other reasons is the main cause of the serious epidemic of the disease;and goat infection rates higher than the main sheep And its feeding methods.By monitoring and analyzing the brucellosis of sheep in Jingtai County,the epidemic trend,epidemic rules and characteristics of brucellosis in 2014-2015 were grasped,which provided a reference for prevention and control of brucellosis in livestock in Jingtai County.
