| In this experiment,the production performance,quality and blood biochemical indexes of hens fed with ginger powder,Chinese herbal medicine compound or different doses of ginger powder with Chinese herbal medicine compound,in order to select a suitable mixture of ginger powder and Chinese herbal medicine compound.Exp 1 The study of the effect of ginger powder,Chinese herbal medicine compound on production performance,egg quality and blood biochemical indexes of laying hens in normal temperature.132 lohmann laying hens,26 weeks-old,were divided into 3 groups in 4 replicates,each replicate including 11 laying hens.The control group was fed with daily diet;Ginger powder group was fed with daily diet added with 10g/kg ginger powder;Chinese herbal medicine compound group was fed with daily diet added with herbal compound,Chinese herbal medicine compound is 120mg/kg marigold lutein+200mg/kg VC+0.1%betaie+ 0.2%Chinese herbal medicine.The light intensity was 10~20lux,16h/d.The temperature was 25℃±3℃.The pre-experiment period was 2 weeks,experiment period was 9 weeks.The results as follow:Compared with control group,the laying rate of hens in ginger powder group was significantly increased(P<0.05),the broken shell rate was significantly extremely decreased(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in daily feed intake,feed/egg,average egg weight,egg quality and egg nutrient content between control group and ginger powder group(P>0.05).Compared with control group,laying hens supplemented with ginger powder significantly improve the serum activities of SOD,GSH-Px,significantly decreased the serum MDA content(P<0.05).Compared with control group,Chinese herbal medicine compound significantly improved the daily feed intake,yolk color,the content of egg white crude protein(P<0.05),significantly extremely decreased broken shell rate(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in feed/egg,average egg weight with the Chinese herbal medicine compound supplemented(P>0.05).Compared with control group,laying hens supplemented with Chinese herbal medicine compound significantly improved the serum activities of T-AOC,GSH-Px,significantly decreased the content of serum MDA(P<0.05).Compared with ginger powder group,laying hens with Chinese herbal medicine compound were no significant difference in feed/egg,average egg weight(P>0.05),significantly improved daily feed intake,laying rate,feed/egg,significantly extremely decreased broken shell rate(P<0.01).Besides,compared with ginger powder group,laying hens supplemented with Chinese herbal medicine compound significantly improved the serum activities of SOD(P<0.05).Exp 2 The study of the effect of different doses of ginger powder and Chinese herbal medicine compound on the production performance,egg quality and blood biochemical indexes of laying hens.176 lohmann laying hens,26 weeks-old,were selected to divide into 4 groups in 4 replicates,each replicate including 11 laying hens.Each treatment was fed with Chinese herbal medicine compound added with 0,5,10,15g/kg ginger powder.The group,0g/kg ginger powder and Chinese herbal medicine supplement,was control group.Feeding diet and management was same as the first experiment.The results as follow: Compared with control group,the hens with 10g/kg ginger powder and Chinese herbal medicine supplement significant improved the laying rate(P<0.05),the hens with 5g/kg ginger powder and Chinese herbal medicine supplement no significant decreased the feed/egg(P>0.05).The laying rate was dramatically increased at the whole experiment period.There was no significant influence in feed intake,average egg weight and soft broken rate with the diet added different doses of ginger powder and compound Chinese herbal medicine(P>0.05).Diet adding different doses of ginger powder and compound Chinese herbal medicine combination also had no significant effect on egg quality,egg yolk color and nutrient content(P>0.05).Compared with control group,the hens with 5g/kg ginger powder and Chinese herbal medicine supplement significant improved the activity of serum T-AOC(P<0.05),the hens with 5,10g/kg ginger powder and Chinese herbal medicine supplement extremely significantly improved the activitivy of serum SOD(P<0.01).With the increase of ginger powder adding dose,quadratic response of serum T-AOC,SOD activities occurred at the whole experiment period.There was no significant influence in activity of serum GSH-Px and the content of MDA with the diet supplemented with different doses of ginger powder and compound Chinese herbal medicine(P>0.05),and the same to the content of serum total protein,total cholesterol,glucose,triglycerides.In conclusion,laying hens with ginger powder,Chinese herbal medicine and the mixture supplement significant improved production performance,enhanced antioxidant ability.The optimal levels used in the laying hens diet were 5g/kg ginger powder + Chinese herbal medicine. |
