Guangxi,facing Beibu Gulf is one of main breeding area of oysters in China,the development of the oyster industry has a long history,along with the rapid development of society and economy in the region and environmental degradation of aquaculture,industry support strength weaker,increased mortality,locking the low end of the industrial chain,low efficiency of management,and intensive processing backward and other problems,which seriously restrict the sustainable development of the oyster industry.Although the oyster industry in the bulk of China’s aquatic products market occupies an important share,but the oyster industry research is little.Therefore,problems and Strategies of oyster industry development in the presence of has practical necessity and urgency.The oyster industry in Guangxi as the research object,through field survey in Guangxi,Qinzhou City,Beihai City,Fangchenggang City,the oyster industry,this paper uses the value chain theory,public policy theory and the SCP analysis framework,from the analysis and summary of Guangxi oyster industry status and problems and causes of the three aspects of market structure,market behavior,market the performance,find out the main factors that hinder the development of oyster industry in Guangxi,put forward some countermeasures to promote the sustainable and healthy development of oyster industry in Guangxi,promote the industrialization of the development process.Through the survey found that: Guangxi oyster industry structure is not reasonable,although the market continued to expand in size,but the market is still maintained at a low level;the use of pricing and advertising behavior to achieve the capacity benefit maximization has yet to be fully tapped,the ability of independent innovation is weak,inadequate investment in technology development;resource allocation the efficiency is low,but the existence of economies of scale.Suggestions:improve the market structure,to promote the industrialization of oysters,oyster processing enterprises to establish economic cooperation organization led,regulate market behavior,increase investment in science and technology to strengthen the oyster,technology promotion,improve the quality of farmers,improving the performance of the market,perfect the oyster industry related policies,increase policy support,improve the production and processing of oyster farming,improve the oyster industry subsidy policy.This paper is a valuable reference for promoting sustainable development of oyster industry in Guangxi.
