Study On Developmental Situation And Countermeasures Of D.officinale Industry In Guangxi

Dendrobium officiinale is rich in dendrobium polysaccharide,dendrobium alkaloids and other effective components,and is known as the "giant panda" in the pharmaceutical industry for its beneficial effects on stomach,lungs and cough,improving human immunity,anti-tumor and reducing blood sugar.Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is one of the main producing areas of D.officinale.As high market price,remarkable curative effect and growing demand for health care,the demand for D.officinale increase rapidly,and it lead to the short of D.officinale wild resources.What is the situation of D.officinale industry in Guangxi?And how to satisfy the growing demand for D.officinale?It needs to study the situation and countermeasures of D.officinale in Guangxi for keeping the industry sustainable and healthy development.Based on field investigation,data collection and comprehensive analysis,it is studied on the current situation of D.officinale in guangxi,and analyzed the input,output and benefits of four cultivation modesD.officinale.SWOT analysis was carried out on the industry development,and the problems and developmental countermeasures were put forward.The main results are as follows:1.Development status and existing problems of D.officinale industry in Guangxi.There are many species of D.officinale in Guangxi,but the large-scale planting species is D.offcinale,were mainly distributed in Nanning,Baise,Yulin,Guigang,Guilin,Hechi and other cities with a cultivation area of nearly 1300 ha.There are some problems as follows:high planting input cost and technical requirements,long planting cycle;different cultivation modes,and uneven yield and quality;rough processing,less processing product categories,and less brands;single sales channels,and weak marketing system etc.The effects of different cultivation patterns on yield and quality is the key to limit the development of D.officinale industry in Guangxi province.2.Analysis on the input,output and benefits of D.officinale 4 cultivation modes in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.There are 4 cultivation modes of D.officinale in Guangxi including epiphytic cultivation with living tree,greenlhouse cultivation,understory bed cultivation and adjoining stone cultivation.The input,output and benefits of 4 cultivation modes of D.offic'inale were analyzed by DEA model analysis.The results showed that the comprehensive efficiency of epiphytic cultivation with living tree,greenhouse cultivation,understory bed cultivation and adjoining stone cultivation was 1.0,0.65,0.69,0.67.respectively.Combining with the actual investigation.it showed that epiphytic cultivation with living tree had the lowest input and the highest production efficiency.The input costs of different cultivation modes was greenhouse cultivation>understory bed cultivation>adjoining stone cultivation>epiphytic cultivation with living tree.The yield and benefit of different cultivation modes was epiphytic cultivation of living trees>understory bed cuItivation>adjoining stone cultivation>greenhouse cultivation.3.Analysis on the technique of epiphytic cultivation of living trees of D.officinale in Xilin county of Guangxi provinceIt showed that epiphytic cultivation of living trees of D.officinale is one of cultivation methods with high efficient,cost saving and quality improvement by base investigation and summarizing the experiences of farmers.The key techniques were as follows.(1)The survival rate of 2-year seedlings was higher than those of 1-year seedlings and tissue culture bottle seedlings.(2)The biodegradable non-woven fabrics used for transplanting binding materials is water-retaining,elastic and biodegradable,could promote the growth of D.officinaleD.officinale,which is and saved the costs of labor and time.(3)Without cutting roots before transplanting could promote the growth of D.officinale.Compared to conventional cultivation,the domestication of Chinese fir seedlings with the substrates could support necessary nutrition for the growth of D.officinale,increased the survival rate,stem length and stem diameter of D.officinale seedlings by 55.7%,47.6%,38.8%,respectively,and increased the yield and quality of D.officinale.4.SWOT analysis of D.of.ficiinale industry development in Guangxi provinceThe national industry of D.of.fici,nale has reached 10 billion yuan and that of Guangxi province is more than 2 billion yuan.Guangxi belongs to tropical ancd subtropical cliIImate,has rich resources of forest and wild D.offici,nale.There are geographical and environmental advantages for developing D.officinale.There.are good chances for developing D.of.fici1nale industry including high market price,large market demand,and the supports of funds and projects from government.Compared with other provinces,there is a lack of standardization of planting technology,market disorder and lack of brand.Transplant survival rate is low,product yield and quality was not high.Processing link is weak,the industrialization development degree of leading enterprise is low,and the industry chain is short.The marketing system is single and the circulation channel is blocked.In the meanwhile,there are challenges such as facing the impact of the market competitiveness of similar products outside the province,and the different demands on the quality and personalized characters from consumers for D.officinale.5.Countermeasures for industrial development of D.of.fici,naleThe development of D.officinale industry in Guangxi should give full play to its advantages,seize opportunities,make full use of its strengths and avoid weaknesses.(1)It should be popularized epiphytic cultivation of living trees with high-efficiency,cost-saving and quality-improving,improved the survival rate of artificial wild transplanting,and produced high-quality and high-yield products.(2)It is important to develop intensive processing on the original basis,make comprehensive use of stem,leaf and flower parts,and develop new edible and health care products with different dosage forms.(3)Strengthening leading enterprises and regulating market quality supervision.(4)Making full use of Internet +" to build product brands and open up sales channels;.(5)Strengthening the publicity and popularization of D.officinale health care.
