In recent years, the incidence of paralysis in the pet clinical cases showed a trend of increasing year by year, because the medical conditions vary greatly between different animal hospitals, the overall medical level of the paralysis cases were relatively low.As the pet specific magnetic resonance imaging is applied to veterinary clinical practice, the clinical diagnosis and treatment level of the paralysis cases is progressively improved. This article focused on the application of the MRI in the diagnosis and the treatment of the paralysis dog and conducted a series of clinical trails, and observed the curative effect of the acupuncture in the treatment of paralytic dogs.In the first part of this article,we collected 30 dogs paralysis clinical cases as the research object, all the cases had the clinical signs similar to hind limbs paralysis, through the analysis of the clinical examination, the paralysis were graded from grade 2 to grade 4,then using MRI,the specific etiology were identify and the appropriate treatment were planed, including medical therapy and surgery therapy. After the analysis of clinical data to classify statistics,we expect to draw a set of diagnosis and treatment method of paralysis, and su ms up a set of dog hind legs paralysis prognostic scoring system, provide reference for clinical veterinary workers.Clinical case statistics show that, depends on the clinical signs, dog hind legs paralysis can be classify by mild to severe into grade 1 to grade 6 total score.Hind legs paralyzed have different etiology, diagnosis sho?ld be confirmed by magnetic resonance imaging and the diagnosis and the treatment plan sho?ld depend on actual cause of the paralysis and surgery or medical treatment. The prognosis of the paralysis depends on the duration of the disease, the degree of spinal cord injury, the hind legs paralysis symptom scores. In the second part of this article,10 cases with similar body shapes and paralysis score were randomly selected and divided into 2 groups, each group was consisted of 5 cases. The group 1 were treated only by means of western medicine treatment, and the group 2 were treated in the use of western medicine and acupuncture treatment combination method.Experimental res?lts show that the western medicine and acupuncture combined method co?ld significantly improve the functions of the hind legs of the paralytic dogs, and co?ld shorten the time of the hospitalization.
