With more than hundreds of different kinds of chickens,China is one the countries with richest genetic resources of fowls in the world.As one of the most famous breeds of China,black-feather chicken is originated from Daba Mountain in Wanyuan City of Dazhou.Developing this industry is the most significant task of Wanyuan City and is also the way must be passed.By investigating,from breed conservation and feeding to deep processing,it’s found that the black-feather chicken industry has made great achievements in all aspect,however,imbalance of the quality,disunity of the feeding technologies,imperfection of breed selection,low survival rate and backward techniques are presenting as well.This article puts forward practicable methods and solutions by researching the above issues accordingly,that enhancing the breed selection,specifying the feeding techniques,improving publicity,increasing the researching of epidemic prevention,setting up quality evaluation system,to provide references to future developing in black-feather chicken.On the other hand,the government should cooperate with research and development institutions,play an important role in leading,increase the investment and extend the marketing.Also increase the local people’s income and find a path that accords with the local situation by developing the industry and enhancing the product competitiveness.
