Cultivated land is the basic condition for human survival, and it is also an irreplaceable natural resources and agricultural production factor. It plays an important role in ensuring food security and promoting social and economic development. With the increase of population and the expansion of cities, cultivated land has become a very scarce resource. The special geographical environment has caused the Ganzhou region to more mountains, less land, the crushing of cultivated land and seriously insufficient cultivated land per capita. Therefore, the rational protection and utilization of cultivated land resources become an urgent requirement for regional sustainable development.Firstly,we selected the indices to establish efficiency evaluation system, and calculated the mean value of cultivated land use efficiency from 1995 to 2015 in Ganzhou by data envelopment analysis(DEA).Secondly, the Malmquist productivity index and spatial autocorrelation analysis were used to explore the temporal and spatial differentiation of cultivated land use efficiency.Furthermore, the dominant factors affecting the comprehensive efficiency of cultivated land use were selected in Ganzhou areas by principal component analysis method. Finally,a Geographic Weighted Regression(GWR)model was established. The influence degree and action direction of each dominant factor were determined according to the regression coefficients, and the regression coefficient graphs of each dominant factor were plotted to visually reflect the influence law.The conclusions are as follows in this article:(1)Index of total factor productivity is affected most by the change of technical efficiency over the recent twenty years, showing a clear upward trend. From a global perspective, the spatial correlation of cultivated land use efficiency in Ganzhou is significant, and spatial agglomeration effect tends to increase. The overall parts show higher autocorrelation in local space, and north spatial difference is higher than south.(2)According to the magnitude of utility, the factors affecting the comprehensive efficiency of cultivated land are the effective irrigation ratio of cultivated land,multiple-crop index, total population, rural per capita income and gross national product.(3)The the influence degree of GDP variable is significant in the changes of spatial structure;there is a significant difference in the spatial variation of the regression coefficient value of population growth;the influence degree of multiple-crop index variable is significant in the changes of spatial structure;the global regression coefficient of effective irrigation ratio in cultivated land is positive, and the coefficient value is increasing;with the increase of per capita income in rural areas, the comprehensive efficiency of cultivated land use in Ganzhou areas varies from promotion to inhibition.
