Nowadays,due to the increasing population,global climate change,decreasing cultivated land area,frequent natural disasters,and environmental pollution have become increasingly prominent issues.However,the demand for quantity and quality of food is increasing day by day.Traditional agriculture can no longer satisfy the growing demand of human beings.Plant plants,as the highest stage of the development of facilities agriculture,have the advantages of small environmental pollution,high utilization of resources,good environmental controllability,stable yield and high quality.It is an important way to solve the above contradictions by multi-level cultivation and mass production of high quality and pollution-free crops.In this paper,a miniature plant factory is designed based on the plant growth environment and suitable for family use.The subsystems were designed and researched according to the functional requirements,and the prototype was made.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Through functional analysis,the plant factory is divided into several subsystems to facilitate modular analysis and design research.And according to the functional requirements,a detailed design of the nutrient liquid circulation,air circulation,temperature and humidity control work and the components of the equipment.(2)The temperature environment in the plant factory is studied.On the basis of optimizing the thermal insulation performance of the micro plant factory,the energy saving analysis is carried out.The power demand of the temperature and humidity control unit is calculated,and the performance and temperature control effect of the temperature control components are tested through the test.(3)The demand and selection of artificial light sources were analyzed,the layout of light sources was optimized,and the applicability of light sources was verified.The prototype of the prototype was tested and the lettuce planting experiment was conducted.At the same time,the growth of lettuce was studied by light and temperature cycle,and the relationship between some environmental factors and the growth factors of lettuce was summarized.(4)On the basis of theoretical calculation,the circulation parts of nutrient solution were selected.The nutrient solution cycle experiment was carried out,and the effects of different temperature on various parameters of the nutrient solution were discussed.The optimal cycle scheme of nutrient solution was studied,which provided a basis for the formulation of better nutrient solution circulation scheme.(5)The data of the two cultivation experiments were analyzed,and the total leaf area model based on leaf length and width of lettuce was established in the first experiment,hoping to predict the growth of lettuce.Based on the data of second experiments,a crop coefficient model based on effective accumulated temperature was established to predict the consumption of nutrient solution in micro plant factories.
